LUVVITT [Ultra Armor] Shock Absorbing Case Best Heavy Duty Dual Layer Tough Cover for Apple iPhone 6 / iPhone 6s (4.7) - Black

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and this LUVVITT case is excellent!See my review:PROS:1. I love the design and color of the LUVVITT case. I am really happy with it. Here was my situation: It was time to get rid of my Otterbox case (let's face it, Otterbox may be durable, but it is a very ugly design and all the models/selections of Otterbox are ugly, and the colors are ugly; not to mention that Otterbox's plastic shield renders the touch screen unusable). Anyway, when I saw the LUVVITT case on Amazon, I thought it was too good to be true. The photos looked great but I kept wondering. I made the purchase and took a risk, but I can say that it was well worth it. The case looks amazing on my iPhone 6. I got the blue metallic color and it is absolutely stunning! The rubber edges feel nice and are of better quality rubber than Otterbox. The blue color of the LUVVITT case is high quality -- it looks saturated in a blue sheen.2. Some reviewers have complained that the edges hurt their fingers, but I have not noticed this. The case is comfortable and keep in mind that the top and bottom edges are rubber, and the back and sides are the slick hard plastic, so it may be a bit slippery, but I haven't had any problems (especially when you consider that the iPhone itself is super slippery).3. Another thing that I like is that the case fits snugly around the edges of the phone but also allows the face of the phone (screen) to be fully displayed. My Otterbox case covered much of the screen so I forgot that I actually had a nice black iPhone screen. Now, everything looks so much better with the black borders of the iPhone face surrounding my screen. For years I stared at the dull white case of the Otterbox, and I didn't realize what I was missing. My iPhone looks so much better.4. Quality for the price. Why pay Otterbox $60-80 or more when you can have an elegant case for so much cheaper? (And, I eventually had to cut out the plastic shield from my Otterbox so that the touch screen on my phone could be usable. If you get the LUVVITT case, just also buy their TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector, and you have all that you need plus elegance !!)CONS:I don't really have any cons. The only thing I would suggest is to buy the case from Amazon (Prime or "fulfilled by Amazon") because then if you are not happy with the exact hue or color, you can return for free. I ordered a case for my wife and the color was a paler blue than what was shown in the picture (that was for an iPhone 6 regular not Plus). But my wife liked the lighter blue and kept it anyway.SUGGESTION:Another thing I did was that I bought the LUVVITT brand Tempered Glass Screen Protector. Please read below if you wish to know about the TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector (I will post this review on that product page as well). LUVVITT iPhone 6s Plus TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector for iPhone 6s Plus 5.5 inch (with Super EASY APPLICATOR) - Crystal Clear I bought this so that there would be no conflict with my LUVVITT case itself. I have to say that I am very impressed with the TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector by LUVVITT. It was super easy to install (none of that spraying an applicator and making a sticky mess and waiting a day to dry). This was SO EASY .... just clean the phone screen with materials provided (alcohol wipe and cloth) then position the Tempered Glass over the phone and remove the adhesive label and let the Glass drop onto the phone ... you will see the adhesive working on its own, it sort of looks like water spilling across the phone screen underneath the Glass Protector. Then just press here and there into position. That's it !!!!One piece of advice about the TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector is that when I was done putting it on, I noticed an area that looked like it was smudged. Turns out it was actually an area where the adhesive sort of pooled and created a weird spot. I fixed this by taking the cloth provided and rubbing it firmly and quickly and the spotty are eventually disappeared.The LUVVITT TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector doesn't fit all the way to the edge of the screen. The company has already stated that this is due to the beveled edge of iPhones and so if the Protector extended all the way to the edge, then it would not adhere properly. So if you don't mind a little edged border where it does not cover, then go ahead and buy this Protector. I am happy with the way it looks.Finally, I am happy with the LUVVITT TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector because, as other reviewers have mentioned, the Glass makes the iPhone screen look even better. I don't know if it slightly magnifies the screen or if it's because the Glass thickness holds the light emission from the screen better, but all I know is that everything looks clearer and sharper somehow. Truly amazing!!By the way, I did not receive any promotions or discounts. I am a real Amazon Prime member who happens to be overly satisfied with a good product. I wrote this review because between the LUVVITT case and the LUVVITT Tempered Glass Screen Protector, it feels like I have a new phone altogether !! The outside of the phone is beautiful now and the screen is more viewable and enhanced so I got so much from the LUVVITT brand for such a low price. Never buying Otterbox again. I'll stick with LUVVITT .5/5 STARS !!!

I bought the black/metallic blue case for $12.95 with Amazon Prime on Friday, but it didn't arrive until Wednesday (4 business days). Okay no problem, sure I understand that the iPhone 6 recently came out and every vendor had low stock of anything iPhone 6/6 Plus-related so it took LUVVITT 2 days to process my order before shipping it, but at least make sure your product isn't damaged. I know it's not a matter of rough handling during transportation (i.e. something heavy sat on top of it while in transit, or it got thrown around, etc), as the case was mailed in the standard well-padded orange-yellow mailing envelope, and the packaging box inside showed no dents/creases/bends. And yet, when I took out the case from the box, I immediately noticed a long, superficial scratch that transversed the width of the case. Come on, I know $13 is cheap compared to the $40+ cases out there, but if I wanted something that looked like it's been used right out of the box, I wouldn't have purposefully looked for NEW cases on Amazon... Well, I suppose the benefit of this is that now I know (and anybody else reading this review) that this case isn't scratch-proof!Anyway, besides the annoying scratch...THE COLOR:I was prepared for the actual color to not match the vendor image's color (sorry, that doesn't come close to metallic blue) when I bought this case. Luckily, it was somewhat close to the shade that I had envisioned. Just imagine (or Google..) the bright blue color of the 2010 Mazda Speed3 celestial blue mica color, but less bright in the sunlight.HOLES FOR THE HEADPHONE JACK, LIGHTENING CONNECTOR, MICROPHONE, SIDE-SWITCH, CAMERA, APPLE LOGO:They're wide and deep enough. You don't need long girly fingernails to flip the side-switch. The headphone jack space is wide enough to fit other headphones, like the ones with the L-shaped plugs. The lightening connector's hole is also wide enough for aftermarket lightening connector cables as well. The Apple logo hole and camera hole is just right - it's obviously not designed to save your phone from scratches if something jagged/sharp penetrates it, but at least you can feel safe about putting your phone down on normal surfaces without fear.SIDE BUTTONS:I like how the buttons are covered, but have grooves that distinguish between them and the case (I'm sure you've seen cases where it's hard to feel out where the buttons are, let alone tell apart which one is the + or - volume button...). Yes, they're a bit stiff and they should be, since they are designed to protect the buttons and thus are part of the case's design. It requires a bit more strength to depress these buttons than if they were out in the open.FIT OF THE CASE:Like other reviewers had said, the case fits snugly over the phone. I read a review that mentioned inadequate protection for the edges of the phone, but I disagree. The case wraps around the phone enough so that when you put your phone face down GENTLY onto a surface (note that I didn't say to slam it face down and then proceed to drag it around), it provides a little clearance between the screen and the surface. And besides, if it comes over the edges any further, it will probably interfere with your screen protector anyway.THE CASE ITSELF:If you're looking for a case that has some sort of grip, then this case is not for you. It's not as slippery compared to using your phone naked, but the hard outer shell is still pretty smooth. It's light and still keeps the phone at a slim profile while offering good protection. I guess time and accidents will test the efficacy of the "Double Layer Shock Absorbing Cover"...OVERALL RATING: 3.5/5Too bad LUVVITT disabled customer images (please consider enabling them, as customer images have actually benefited my online shopping in the past), but otherwise I would have taken some pictures and uploaded here for y'all.

This iPhone 6 case is very stylish and slim. I purchased this case for my new iPhone 6 based on the good reviews and the look of the case. I purchased the gold/black case for my new silver iPhone 6 and it really looks good on my iPhone. It's just beautiful!The case was easy to put on my phone, all of the buttons are easy to push, and it has a lip around the front to protect the screen. There is also a nice, deep lip around the camera lens, so the back camera is fully protected. :)My ONLY gripe is that the phone isn't very "grippy." While not specifically slippery/slick, the case is very smooth and slides around too easily. It also makes it harder for me to grasp the phone. My hands are very small and I have advanced rheumatoid arthritis in my hands (yes, in my 30's), so smartphones aren't easy for me to handle in general. I'm seriously irritated with the iPhone's new, larger, thin size. But the the lack of texture/grip on this case makes it even more difficult for me to handle.So I'm knocking off one star for lack of grip.I just upgraded from an iPhone 4S with a Speck PixelSkin case. It was an awesome case with a nice (deeper) lip around the face and good rubberized texture which helped me grasp it.I DO like this case, but will be buying another one with some grip as soon as possible. The phone just slides around too much in this case. The case is gorgeous, but grip is more important to me than looks (within reason, of course!).But this case IS as advertised. Luvvitt doesn't say it has any texture for better grip.I purchased this case on Friday, Nov. 7th (very late at night). It shipped Monday and arrived Tuesday, Nov. 11, the day before my iPhone arrived on Wednesday Nov. 12. Thanks Amazon!

Had a tough time getting the clip to convert to a stand so as to be able to place it on a flat surface and watch a video or whatever without holding the phone. Once you swivel the clip to the desired position, it takes a lot of force (push down hard on the top of the clip with both thumbs) to click the clip in place to make the stand and similarly releasing it takes some force (push down on the latch under the clip to release). Other than that, product is good.

Very good product for the price i paid. Very happy of my purchase.

I don't usually write a review as I'm lazy lol. But this case is amazing. For around £6-7 you get a very premium case which dare I say better than the Spigen ones at £18+. The case fits very snugly, sturdy construction and looks great. The hole on the back for the apple logo is invaluable for one hand use to stabilise the iPhone. It gives the feeling of the small hole you get on the Moto G and X. Good ergonomics!Loving the case and well worth the money. I suspect as the reviews grow the price will increase. So get them whilst they cheap!
