KSEIBIUnibit 3-Piece High-Speed Steel Step Drill Bit Set - for Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Wood

I’ve been using this KSEIBI step drill bit set for about a month now on different home metalworking projects, and I’m really happy with how they’ve held up. I mostly work on DIY repairs in the garage — stuff like fixing brackets, making cleaner holes in sheet metal, and modifying hardware — and these bits have made that way easier.They cut smooth and don’t grab or jump when I start drilling, which is something I’ve had trouble with in cheaper sets. I’ve used them on aluminum, steel, and even some old brackets I wasn’t sure about, and they still feel sharp. For the price, they’ve definitely delivered more than expected — really solid value for the money.Functionality-wise, they hit the mark. The steps are clearly marked, so it’s easy to stop at the right size without over-drilling. The metal feels durable, and they haven’t overheated or dulled quickly, even with frequent use. I haven’t had to sharpen them yet, which says a lot.If you do light to medium-duty metal work at home, this set punches well above its weight. Solid performance and a good buy all around.

I had tried other brand drill bits claiming to be made to drill metals and they failed and dull after using once. This tool works well and remains sharp for repeated use.

The media could not be loaded. They cut fast. In the video you can see that I am torquing on these bits. I cut 8 9/16 inch holes in truck frame rails, heavy thick steel. I would have burned through ALL of my Snap On drill bits if I abused them like these bits. I put them under as much force as I could, held them to the metal and made them cut. And cut they did. Hole after hole, until I broke two of them. Granted, I was using a come along around my back so I had more force and I was cutting at an angle. You can see it in the video. I will buy more of these. I have never seen a drill bit cut like this without dulling the tip point. They stay sharp even under abuse. They will break if you abuse them too much. It was my fault they broke. I have never owned a drill bit or set of drill bits that are as good as these. Buy them!!!

These things did great going through most of what I used them on, but I'd question the impact rating. I broke a bit in my first set trying to open up a hole on a trailer for a wiring harness. When built they used a torch to blow a hole in the metal. I wanted a nicer rounded hole for passing protective sleeving through. Was using the bit in my impact driver because drill was too long to fit in area. Bit promptly caught and snapped off at the shank.Was still in return window and Amazon or seller was quick to replace. Haven't had any more issues, but also haven't put them into a similar situation.

Cuts like no other. Pulls so fast it will stall your drill out if you press too much. Only other thing is watching the hot shavings if you are drilling in a different angle other than straight down. Awesome drill!
