The media could not be loaded. Love the idea of a map of Middle Earth puzzle but this was poorly executed due to the black border with far too similar pieces and the small, hard to read text. The enclosed small photo doesn't help much, primarily due to its size.Please see my video review for more info. I am not going to finish it because I am not enjoying it anymore. So what you see in my video is as far as it is going to get.

This puzzle, unlike most jigsaw puzzles, does not come with an adequate guide picture. The image on the box is not viable as a guide. The guide included inside is very small and hard to use. I resorted to a magnifying glass. I searched online and found comparable images of the puzzle art but, when printed, the resolution of the graphics were poor.The puzzle is made with quality materials. The pieces are cut with fine precision but this turns out to be a flaw. This means that the pieces do not interlock firmly. I bumped the puzzle a couple of times when testing whether a piece fit and dislodged 30-40 pieces at a time. I ended up assembling the “easiest” 60% of the puzzle then returned it to the box.

Wish I had read these review first. I've done hundreds of challenging puzzles but this one is on the verge of not worth the effort. Only a few different cuts so just about every piece will fit and look correct and due to the nature of the puzzle each piece is very similar in color. Add to that the fact that even if you do happen to find 2 pieces that fit together and are correct they are very loose it makes this just about impossible. I've spent several hours and haven't even begun to put the border together. If the border is this ridiculous I probably won't ever bother with finishing. Disappointed.

I'm fairly old and should have a lot of time, but this puzzle kicked my butt. All the pieces are pretty similar; it's easy to get a piece in the wrong place. Also, before purchasing, bone up on your Elvish!

I never thought I’d need to read the reviews for something like a puzzle first, but I wish I had. The puzzle pieces themselves feel very high quality and won’t leave “puzzle dust” all over. That’s the only reason I’m giving this two stars instead of one. The problem is in the cut. There are only 6ish piece styles, so literally all the pieces fit together and look 99% right, even if they aren’t a match. We got about 15% completed when I became convinced that we didn’t even have all the pieces, as we couldn’t even complete the border to fit just right. After reading reviews of others missing pieces, we gave up. We do large puzzles all the time but this one is just not worth it.

The pieces do NOT fit together. A light wind will blow it apart. I got ten minutes in and had to return it. Not only do the pieces barely fit, but they all look the same. Do not get this

i love the design and im not scared of a challenging puzzle, however i spent the worse part of 4 months trying to do this puzzle and i barely got the boarder done. every piece seems to fit together (like legitimately you could swap around all the boarder pieces with any others) so when its a design mostly blank like this, it becomes very difficult to even get a base. it just seems low quality all around and disappointing. puzzles should have more than 2 shapes :/i found this same map on an 'Aquarius' brand puzzle so im giving that a shot next -ive never had issues from that brand before. good luck!

Paper wise it’s pretty thick but puzzle wise it’s not that good. Especially for those who love puzzles. It’s nothing compare to Aquarius and other puzzle brands. The pieces are loose (even if you put it correctly). You won’t be able to lift the puzzle after completion. Took 5 layers of puzzle glue to glue together, compare to 1 layer for the good brand ones. Overall it’s not bad but definitely it wasn’t fun to put together.
