Works well. No flickering when on a dimmer.
There is a slight delay when turning on if the dimmer is not set to full bright.

• A Bright White (3000K) bulb which throws just the right color for a room.
I had used previously a Sylvania LED bulb that lasted several years without any problems. Recently, the bulb started flickering at random times and the light level started dimming to the point where it was no longer throwing the brightness of a 125 watt bulb.I wanted to choose a replacement bulb with a color cast that is neither orange nor blue. A Natural White (3500K) or a Cool White (4000K) are my preferences, but these color temperatures are not always available—especially for a 125 watt bulb. The two major choices are, usually, a sleepy Soft White (2700K) and a harsh Bright White (5000K). Neither of these was acceptable for the office area. After some searching, I came across the Cree, Bright White (3000K) alternative which threw just the right color for the room. The bulb is dimmable, but I don't use it for that purpose. Just a simple on-off is my only requirement. The bulb starts out very bright, but settles down to its 125 watt nominal level after a few days. No flickering or dimming.
