Saved me alot of money
My 15 year old Bryant heat pump stopped blowing cool air and I assumed it was time for me to have to spend thousands of dollars getting it replaced, but I went outside and looked at it and the fan was not turning on consistently when the compressor started up. I checked it and it was a little difficult to turn so I figured the bearings were going out. So instead of calling an HVAC company to come out and tell me I needed to replace everything, I spent $85 on this motor which they indicated was a direct replacement for the GE motor in my unit. The motor came in a few days (early) and was packaged very nicely. It included a 7.5uF capacitor that was physically much smaller and looked a lot different than what was in there. After further research I learned that my unit has a 45/5uF dual capacitor with 3 terminals on the top whereas the capacitor that came with this motor was a single capacitor with 2 terminals.Installation of the motor was fairly easy, it took me just over an hour. It has 3 wires and a ground wire which I did not need since the unit would be grounded to the frame. One of the wires was a different color than my original motor (yellow instead of white) but that was easy to figure out.Although I knew you should replace the capacitor with the new motor, I decided to try it with my original capacitor since the one provided did not match. The unit started up just fine, but it appeared that the fan was turning slower that the original motor (no way to measure if it was 825 RPM’s, it just looked slower). I contacted the company and they said to use the supplied capacitor. I didn’t like that idea, so I went to Amazon and bought a dual capacitor with the same ratings as my compressor and the new fan motor (45/7.5uF). Installed it in about 20 minutes, started it up and it worked great -the fan turned at a much faster speed. So if I’m lucky I might get a few more years out of my Bryant heat pump. I’m very happy with this motor, especially the price.

Best motor for the price
So this is by far worth the 69.99 cost, mine got lost in the mail and company immediately refunded so u could order another and just so you know this motor is shipped from vevor not from amazon and if you havent already i would get the capacitor that goes with your unit to because when the motor goes normally the capacitor or capacitors goes out to so we live in a mobile home in northern cali and it gets hot rite bow its a 112 degress outside and all last month we had zero ac landord refused to fix are ac unit i called every single HVAC company in town wouldnt even offer a quote without a min 99$ fee my neighbors went out a month before and he was looking at 9,580.59$ to repair his unit so i looked up all the info about the unit and foind i have a goodman 5 ton or pound unit cant remeber and we have lived here for 11 years the old fan motor was loud i mean really loud never jad any issues with the outside unit untill this summer when we would goto turn the ac on the fan wouldnt spin unless you went outside and blew on the blades to kick start the motor if your having a similar issue thats a sing of 2 things a bad capacitor and or motor in my case both, now i am a mechanic and work mainly on vehichles and wanted to get another motor that looked exactly like the one that was in it cheapest i could find arpund 250$ so i saw this was amazons like number 2 rated out of all there fan motors, so a little help of you dont know the capacitor is basically a battery that holds a large amount of voltage rubber gloves and shutting all power off to home is best suggestion i can give and afyer power is off just touch a plastic handle screw driver over capacitor to discharge unit or your gonna get a good shock trust me got myself twice with full 240v shock not fun so u wanna make sure there is no power on or going to the unit at all, now it used to run really loud and you could hear the compressor gping off and on and using high speed recording and clocking the rotations i saw mine was spinning max at maybe around 100rpms not the 1100rpms its supposed to and i didnt know the capacitor also controlled the condensor pump so i also had a bad capacitor so i decided todo motor capacitor and the relay switch was only an extra like 50 bucks and way worth now instal was not a simple as i was hoping unit did come with this tiny tiny capacitor about a quarter of the size of the new one do i know thats a plus and be very careful with your screws and how you take them out and if u can number them so u can put correct screw in the right place "the whole reson my neighbors unit went out property maintenance man stuck an inch screw in a spot designed for an 1/8th of of an inch screw and punctured the refrigerant line and now he is suffering with 2 indoor ac units to barely keep 1 room cool" so i cant stress to be as carefull as you can around the fins and tubing and dont add any long screws and if need be a good quilty tie strap will work fine, ad others have stated couldn't get wiring thru the tube due to the angled terminals so just sliced the tube plus i purchased that black wire gaurd anyways to prewrap the wires before using eletrical tape zip ties motor has 2 weep holes on the bottom and lined up exactly where my old motor was this is a bigger motor id say double the size, had a hard super hard time removing old fan blade to put on new motor just went to harbo freight and bought an angle grinder after 5 hours of oil banging nothing was getting this motor off besides cutting and grinding old ones shaft down but once that was done it fit on the new one great did find it odd to have 2 flat sides instead of one but whatever it worked zip tied the bidirectional line to tha fans top housing unit went ahead and purchased coil cleaner and dug about 10 inches of debri out of bottom of unit raised it and placed a slitted drain mat underneath the unit for propper water drainage, so got the motor all mounted and isntalled the whole unit cleaned out and even got a PLASTIC coil straightner eould bot recommend any type of metal tool to straight any bent coil fins installed the other capacitor and the relay and had everything wired up and went to turn on and had fan but no capacitor luckily for me i took a ton of photos where every wire was and the color ect.. tooke me another 6 hours because whomever installed this unit i guess decided to not follow the super simple color coding wireing diagram but now everything is all back together total fix time for me was 20 hours to 10 hour nights i guess you could say to hot to work on it in the sun and wow what a difference its like we have a whole entire brand new air conditioner! The fan has been tested and is able to run fine as stated its 112 and in the sun ad 10 to 15 degress and have had not 1 issue at all the second it turns on theres not even a delay in cold air its 112 outside and im inside with a blanket its so cold in here now i also redid the cooling pipes so there way better insalated all the way into the main inside unit this fan is blow 10x better then it ever had and its cooling the house better then ever, i for sure recommended taking pics to ensure proper wire placement is the best advice i guess i can give, where going on day 8 with 100 degrees plus everyday and still not 1 issue with unit fan motor does get a little hot and i was worried till i read the normal operating temp is almost 200 degrees so seems normal to be a little hot not hot enough to be concerned at all and blowing at least 10 times the volume of air through the unit then before and at a good 70% less noise super quite motor. All in all very happy with the motor i just ordered from the source to get faster shipping since mine was lost in mail and got her fast along with the company offering there help for free of i came into any issues motor does have a 90 day warranty according to the paper thay came with it so its getting tested hard for these next 90 days in this heat, feel bad now im the only mobile home in my park with central ac well working central ac and am covered in a blanket inside its so cold in here and unit is still stopping and coming back on having it set to 70 couldnt be nore happier with this motor even if it lasts longer then the12 years the original one did ill be happy if inget half of that life but one thing i would suggest is cleaning your coils inside and out making sure your outside unit isnt filled with debri like in my case you want as much are as the machine is designed for flowing through all coils so any obstructions in the bottom wont get air through the bottom of unit and makeing sure your cool pipe line is nice and well insalated save you money and lost cooling i had about 8 feet to cover and that 8 feet is in direct sunlight and wow what a difference all in all q 5 star product from a great company that helped me out when nobody was willing to give me an estimate on how much to repair the motor capacitor and relay switch i knew thats what it needed but they wouldnt even offer a quote without a 100$ so save yourself the 100$ and a new unit new cheapest i could find 3 grand and thays not even for the refrigerant to and to take pics and wire up exacrly the way your pics show the way it was because theres one wire thays brown not white or someone said on here and in my case they where wrong so best advice is to take pics of everything and copper tubbing can easily super easily be broke and or screwed through so no mtal tools or long screws when working on the sealed refrigerant system i hope this maybe helps some mine was the goodman couldnt even find a model number but probably 30 years old and hopefully will last another 30 with proper maintenance heck im a pro HVAC tech now lol and yeah you tube has thousands of vids to help but without a good voltage tester if you run into problems refer back to your pics you took before you removed or disconnected any wire is the only thing that saved my but TAKE PLEANTY OF WIRIMG PICS BEFORE INSTALL AND ON THE TOP OF THE CAPACITOR TO MAKE SURE YOU GOT THE CORRECT CABLES ON C AND ON HERM AND FAN thats what had me all messed up but my pics saved me so cant stress enough to take before pics

Why the extra wires hanging out here?
My capacitor went out while outside temps were in the high 90's, seemed like a poor fan motor was messing it up, so i ordered some caps and a fan motor, had to wait a wee, but the price was much cheaper than getting it locally, it was easy to change out, great way to save a ton of money if you aren't afraid to do things yourself. works great, fits perfect.

Perfect Replacement, Great Price
This 1/5 hp 825 RPM motor was a perfect replacement for the OEM condenser fan motor on my 13 year old American Standard Heat Pump. I only gave four stars because of not having any knowledge about the reliability of Vevor motors, this being the first time using one. The included capacitor is a bonus as you should always replace it when replacing a motor. The motor comes with three wires for connecting to the unit, plus a short ground wire which I extended to reach a grounding point inside the unit. If you are unsure how to connect the wiring, there is a diagram on the motor, plus several YouTube videos you can watch. After having the motor installed for only two weeks, I can say I am completely satisfied with the installation, noise, and performance of the motor. Only time will tell about the reliability.

Good
It is doing well but no instructions with it only what’s on the motor itself that was terrible and made it harder to install

Fit like a glove
Fit perfectly worked well yes the color code was different but it came with clear instructions and diagram if you can’t understand how to use it you shouldn’t be wiring it.

Works great
Received earlier than indicated, very simple to install, had to reverse polarity, otherwise working great so far at 1/3 the price of similar motors

So far, so good.
Condenser fan on my AC died and this part was a good universal substitute to replace it (has all the same specs as our previous one). Was fairly easy to install and is working like a charm (so far). Saved myself a lot of money from having to replace the AC or calling in a repair technician to do it for us.

Great deal
Motor works as advertised. Easy to setup. This one had the extra ground wire that my old one didn’t but wasn’t an issue.Issue was with capacitor. Not the right one for my setup. Had to order another and that’s lost time.Other than that would’ve gave 5star

Runs Quiet and is working great
Fan let go at the end of last summer. I waited to spring to swap it out. Wasn't sure about the quality of this motor but after using it for the past month Im very happy with the new fan motor. Unit has never ran so quiet and worked so good as it's working now. If you need one buy it you won't be disappointed. Would definitely purchase again if I needed one again.
