My children do NOT like school lunches, and without a fridge or microwave the options become pretty tiresome. These work pretty well depending on what time lunch is (if they have lunch later in the day it is lukewarm instead of hot, but still not bad considering the alternatives.) No problems with leaking. Definitely work best if full of a hot item rather than with just a small entree.

I put boiling water in them for five mins before my food, my food would still be near cold after 40 mins. I need one to start warm for 1 hour and the other to last 4 hours. These were a waste of money!!! And the food placed inside was piping hot from oven casserole and cast iron skillet frying.

I got these for my son to take to school and keep his lunch warm. These are larger than I thought. I was able to fit an entire can of chef boyardee spaghetti and meatballs in one of them and white rice in the other (that's what he asked to have for lunch today). I put boiling hot water in them for 7 minutes while I cooked the food on the stove and warmed up the rice. I dried the water out of the bowls and put the hot food inside. I'm optimistic it will stay warm for 3 hrs (it says it will stay warm for 4+hrs). I'll update this post if it didn't stay warm. Normally if my son wants left overs I will put them in a yeti cup or locking Pyrex plate and wrap it with foil to keep it warm. I got tired of doing that and Wal-Mart didn't have a lot of options for what I was looking for and for what they did have, the prices were insane for small containers. I'm glad I got these.

It doesn’t keep the food scorching hot, no. But for the price I thibk it doesnits job, my daughter seems to love it, the food is a good temperature for her and its working. For us great purchase

Quality product and easy to use. The biggest issue I had was the size of the container; too small. Also, opening and closing wasn’t as easy as I would expect. Overtime the latch would break.

Excited to find an insulated food container that was round and hoped it would work….unfortunately, it did not. I heated the container with boiling water and packed pasta heated on the stove for my son’s lunch. He said it wasn’t hot and was barely warm at lunch time. Disappointed overall, but the shape was much more convenient and easier to eat out of.

We have bought 2 sets of these and love them. We find that we use them for lunches weekly. We heat the food up in the morning and put in these. By lunch it is still hot and no waiting for the microwave at work or school. Easy to clean & maybe investing in more for my grandkids as well.As some one who has dexterity issues occasionally, these are easy to open and close. I have not had to worry about leaks or smells.

The media could not be loaded. The bowls seal in the outer has started coming off and separating, does not close properly. Does not keep food warm.
