Q: If i need 2 strings of these lights, how would i connect them? i see below you need to purchase a connector. what type of connector?

dear buyer,it can not connect two set together,because there don't come with connector.

Q: Can you buy T and L connectors for these lights ?

I had no issues installing lights to vanity. And yes there are T and L connectors that can be installed with them.
