Good value. Fast.
Good value. Win 11 home. It took a couple hours for the computer to install updates. Reasonable weight. MS tried to sell you Offoce365; I just bought it outright which is better value. I don't play games so I use Chrome and it took some time to kill MS edge tasks.

Asus Vivobook
I use for internet. Works fast boots fast and had old bluetooth mouse that was too jerky on other computers worked fast n smoothly on this computer. Screen bright colors n long battery life. It does slow down if you open too many window tabs. Could use another memory stick.

ASUS VivoBook 16 Laptop Pros/Cons
Let's start off with the obvious, this is what I’d consider an entry level laptop, not to be compared to those higher end 1k+ ones. That said, I have mostly positive things to say about my experience with this device after around a month of use. I bought this for college/work, and it gets the job done.Pros:Solid screen for a laptop at this price range. Colors could be better and more vibrant, but I’m also used to my $800 4k desktop monitor so comparing them isn’t really fair, but I haven’t seen much better at this price point.Keyboard and touchpad have a nice feel, responsive and are generous in size. Something I personally needed with big hands.Fast and snappy. Turning it on only takes around 5 seconds to reach the log in screen.Battery life is fair around 6–8 hours of use from 100%, this of course varies on your use, taking into account things like programs opened/running and screen brightness.Comes with HDMI, 3 USB ports and USB-C.Webcam isn’t half bad and even comes with a privacy shield.Wi-Fi speeds up to 1300mbps.Cons:Speakers could be better. They’re rear facing, which can become muffled if you aren’t sitting it on a flat surface.USB-C is for data transfers only. Would have been nice to have an alternative way to charge your laptop. The outside shell (top) and where you rest your palms while typing are oil magnets.Comes with McAfee bloatware installed. Creating new user accounts pre-installs it for each one.The bezel you would grab on to when opening up your laptop is quite thin, so I worry that I might accidentally miss it and grab the actual screen instead, possibly damaging it.All things considered for the price point, it’s a solid entry level laptop. If your use is for simple none intensive work, and you don’t mind the battery life, then I think most would be happy with the build and performance.

RAM Module went bad right after warranty expired
Nice computer while I had it. But it stopped working just after the 1-year warranty ended. Since day-1, there was a rattling noise in the interior of the laptop machine - loose screw, but it worked seemingly fine.Later, it began randomly turning to a black screen forcing me to completely reboot the computer to bring it back to life. Eventually the screen stopped turning on altogether, but the fan was at fastest speed and there were lights on the keyboard. I researched the symptoms and took it to a local shop. The local shop and Reddit research both diagnose it as a bad RAM Module, which is sodered to the harddrive and therefore not fixable, the in-person technician literally said he cannot fix it. ASUS phone tech support still requested I mail in the computer and have them diagnose it for $85 before being able to give me a solution. Since the rattling noise began before warranty ended, but the screen ultimately stopped working 2 months after the warranty ended, ASUS refused to cover any loss in this 1 year old device. My useage was minimal, and all data was stored on an external harddrive and the cloud, so my memory use was not an issue causing any delays. This was just a faulty product that I paid $500+ for one year of use.

GREAT LAPTOP!!
Very fast. Performance is excellent! Only red flag for me is that it doesn't have an SD card reader. Otherwise, it does all I expected and more!!

Good value computer ...
It is a great computer for it's value... just opened it and loving it*** JAN 2, 2024 update... Keyboard not well designes, size for kids, difficult to work with the number pads on the right... and the letter keys are a bit small... considering buying a new computer just for keyboard design...
