Do not buy these are broken when arrived, leaking sand all over and the descriptions says they are safe balls. I am pretty sure it even showed someone squeezing one with their thumb and finger but these are hard plastic filled with sand just like the ones I am trying to replace that came with the game. sad and now I guess I have to package them back up and drive somewhere to return them to get my money back. sad sad product!!*****EDIT***** they company saw the review and gave me my refund as well as sent out their upgraded balls which are red and blue. The upgraded ones are as described and can be "squished" between fingers and seem way better. I appreciate them sending the replacements and would have given those five stars but I left the review at 4 simply because of the trouble of waiting and reviewing. thanks so much my grandkids are enjoying their ladder ball game again.

They are not bright like the picture also the string between the bolas seems a little short but okay other than that.

I found this ladder ball toss game when searching for one to replace that we lost in our garage/house fire. The one we had my husband made out of pvc pipes and rope with golf balls on ends. It was quite sturdy and I was afraid that I would order one that would not meet my expectations. After looking over reviews on several of these games, this one came up as what I found to be the best of those I read. I only saw two reviews from this particular item with poor rating. One said it was made from cheap material and didn't last one round. They must have been using it differently than what it was made to be used for, as I see no problem with the quality of the product's material. The other poor review said that there was no email response from seller about an issue. I can only speak from my experience but I emailed the seller because a piece was missing and I received a response on a Sunday night which I did not expect! They are sending the piece I requested and I was very satisfied with their response and willingness to make things right. In all my years of purchasing items this was one of the best customer service experiences I have had.As for the game. It's a lot of fun. We fixed it so we could play until the missing piece arrives. The game is sturdy and has stakes to hold the 2 ladders in place in case it is a little windy. For the money this game is unbeatable. I can tell you right now that I saw games that cost less but then you get what you pay for - cheaply made and won't last long. There were also some that the design of the base was visibly not going to stand up anywhere very well without being staked down. This one can be used without the stakes if it's not too windy or is more level ground.I like the bag that came with it which makes it nice if you travel to go camping or to an family picnic you can bring it along. We will keep it together and hang it in the basement because we will be using it much more here at home.All in all, you can't beat the price for the quality of the item and the great customer service! I would recommend this item and the seller to my family and friends.

Like that they are made sturdy and the price was fabulous.

My family really likes to play ladder ball. Unfortunately, the bolos never seem to last as long as we'd like. This does seem like a sturdy set. We've used them a handful of times so far, and they work well with our wooden ladder ball set.I am very glad that the rope ties through the loop at the top. If you're like our family, the rope always wears out before the actual bolo. When that happens, these can be replaced with thin rope that you can find at a craft store. The loop at the top makes for easy replacement.

I needed replacements for the original ones and these work just as well.

These are distinctly not "Soft" ladder balls as their description suggests. These are essentially golf balls. BS.

This item was a replacement for parts to an outdoor game and it clearly stated that they were “soft “ ballls. They are almost like golf balls … very hard and could posstve hurtful if struck by one.
