Worked as advertised
I just used these to make a connection of aftermarket taillights on my motorcycle. I could have just soldered the connections and put heat shrink over them, but wanted a connection I could easily remove if I needed to take the rear fender off. These worked great. I did mess up one crimp while trying to figure it out, but once I got it down it was a quick process and the lights worked even with me moving the wires around after installation trying to get them to flicker. I don’t know how they hold up to water yet, but I’m impressed so far.

Finnicky, Finicky, Finicky.
The video looks like it's playing at double speed. I must have paused it at least 15 times to pick up on the key things to understand. The product seems to work as it should. You just have to have great dexterity to use it.To see the connection I was making I had to use the pliers in my left hand, which is unnatural for me.I found it easiest to put a terminal in the pliers and barely start crimping it, and then insert the wire. Otherwise, you don't have enough hands to hold the wire, the terminal, and the pliers.Out of the 9 connections I made, only one of them was bad.Two of them were just as test crimps and on about the 5th one, I cut it off because three wires were outside the crimp. Luckily it was the first crimp of a plug so I just adjusted the length of the wire for the other two. I wound up not using these because the area under the truck was too constricted to make the other half of the connections. I thought it would be an exercise in futility. After the difficulty I had making connections on the bench. Just used shrink wrapped butt connectors. Which will have to be cut out next time I work on it.

So much better than quick crimp or butt-end connectors
if you have any automotive wiring such as auxiliary lights or fans this is a much better option to get everything connected up. The included crimping pliers have a nice even ratcheting action so you do not accidentally over crimp and damage the connector. add a little dielectric gel to insure good weatherproof connection and all is good.

Wired up!
I used the kit on my new gauge set for my truck so I could disconnect the wiring harness quickly. It took a few tries to crimp the pins properly but once I figured out the placement on the tool and the correct length to strip the wires it was easy! My gauges look and work great!

Unable to de-pin once installed
Once you get them assembled they seem like they will be pretty sturdy but they are impossible to get the female pins out once installed. You will have to cut the wire again. Too bad they don't have instructions for this process. Would be ok if that worked right, other than being a little bulky
