Critical if Testing Multiple MCUs
Ease of use:This couldnt be any easier or more straight forward to use. I use this display as an HID for a dual MSP430F5529 & AM263 MCU DAQ setup. It has is own control capabilities and it has a powerful processorCompatibility:UART can be bit-bashed making this thing compatible with anything that has an outputFunctionality:This intelligent series has Data Storage capabilities, allowing the memory offloaded from the MCU's ADC to be transferred and freeing buffer & computational power with just the click and drag of a button on the editor!Wifi connectivity:No tested or observed. If this does have wifi, I am unclear on how it works.Value for money:Expensive - but it massively increases development time of any development systemWhy did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted an easily implemented data storage device that did not use EEPROM only; Allowing the data to be off loaded. This one does indeed have that capability - using the Data Storage object in the Nextion Editor; This feature is specific to the Intelligent Series Nextion Display

The absolute best Arduino compatible screens (capacitive 10.1!!!!)
I think I have in total purchased about 6 or 7 of these screens and they are awesome as …. These make my Arduino projects look amazing there is a premium feel and I had to find a guy that showed me that ‘ print “LED ON” ‘ was the simplest way to go. And then a simple few lines of Arduino code and I was off. Made some really cool stuff. I also paired these with some ‘Productivity Open P1AM-100 starter kits’ from automation direct and made an industrial machine for my company. It’s awesome! A little learning curve but I figured it all out from YouTube and ai. I like the capacitive touch. I only have one resistive touch and I just don’t like it. But it works. Gotta be very careful about the screen size or it won’t accept the pics for backgrounds etc. I did not use the built in GPIO yet. Not sure how it works. I am an Arduino guy. Also be very careful not to go over 5V. I blew out a screen connecting a 9V battery. That screen is a boat anchor. 5V only on the 10.1. Be aware. Don’t lose $180 on an over voltage connection like I did. Other than that these screens are amazing.

Works great - Wish I had another project that would use one.
I made a weather station using the monitor and an Arduino. Could not have been easier. The display is bright under all lighting conditions. The Nextion Editor is easy to use during the development cycle. The display has been running 24/7 now for 8 months now without a problem. Would get another one in a heartbeat.

Little tricky for me
I can get some things working between HMI and ESP32. I might need more you tube videos. Does seem well built. But the editor doesn’t have any of those fancy items you see in product pictures.

Fantastic display.
With the Nextion software and this intelligent display you can do amazing things. Great value for the little guy working on a budget. Easy to interface with the MCU of your choice and send and receive data between the Display and your MCU. Lot of YouTube videos to help you on your way. I used an Arduino Mega and the Capacitive touch display. I did not use any libraries and it’s not difficult to send and receive data between Arduino and display. You can use any Paint type program to create and edit pictures for use as background or buttons etc. if you need to fill like a cone. You draw the cone empty and full. Import the 2 pictures and the display will fill it from 0% to 100% with data from your MCU or using a touch slider. Very capable display when using Nextion editing software.

Very nice/capable touch screen
The editor has a bit of a learning curve, but works well. Data from a microcontroller is used to create commands for the screen to interpret. The digital pins work as expected. You'll need a capable image design program to create images for display. Photoshop works well.Worth the price..Notes:1. My first one had an issue where after a power cycle it had to be reloaded. I fixed it by issuing the command: runmod = 0.2. Dual state buttons will reset back to boot up state when changing screens. Example: Tap a button to turn something on... The button changes color and the "on" event takes place. Tap away from that screen and return to find the button went back to boot up condition. Solution is to make the variable scope for the dual state button global. (Local by default).Have fun with this very capable touch screen!
