Sharkoon VG5-W ATX Computer Case with Large Acrylic Side Window and 120 mm LED Fan - Blue

I like the case for what I needed. I wanted a compact case with cable management. I have a i7 3770k with a p8z77, 16gb ram, hdd and ssd, r9280x and a 212 EVO; everything fits, I am using a semi modular power supply and almost all the cables go fantastically good through the cable management area and stay away of the air flow. The cable for the cpu is the one that was very tricky to put through the cable management so I decided to run it through the back side. The price is awesome for what the case offers so if you are on a budget go for it but consider the downs of the box which I will explain next:1- The fans included are quite cheap in terms of quality (1200rpm 25.2dB and 34.8CFM data given by sharkoon) so if you are not planing in putting them to work at 100% and you have a way to managing them you might wanna consider a change (I swapped to coolermaster sickle flow)2- The front fans come with 4 long screws each to attach them to the case, those screws are designed to attach fans that have the same depth as the fans they include in the case (2cm depth). I had to run to the hardware store and get some new screws to attach the others.3- This is a personal taste, the case comes with 4 pre drilled holes to attach an ssd on the case just under the hdd bay, I do not like it because the holes are open and they might be a source for dust inside the case (I plugged them with some wall plugs)4- the filters for the front fans are a bit difficult to dismount to clean and put back.5- No water cooling even if there are two areas for drilling water cooling holes, but there is no space inside.I am looking forward for summer so I will test how does the system cools down with its new case.

Case arrived quickly and well packaged, a lot of room to fit all the components manual could have been better considering I was a first time builder, for the fans I plugged them into the power supply connectors rather than the motherboard, my motherboard didn't have as many fan connectors, case feels strong. Also a note should be made in the manual of which wire is positive as some twin wires are both black in colour, or use red and white? The rear fan cable could be longer then I could of routed the cable around the edge of the case?In all a very good case, well thought out and I highly recommend the case, especially as mine had 3 red fans, keeping the interior well cooled and looks good too.

Good case, nice bright LED features.The "blue" in the title relates to the colour of the motherboard mounting plate. I'm not really sure if that matters too much as the motherboard covers most of this.There was not a mounting point on the back side for an SSD, but that didn't matter, there are many bays inside.There is a plastic cover that turns one of the 5.25" external bays in to a 3.5" bay which was really good.Plenty of room to send cables to the rear of the motherboard, but shutting the case afterwards can be a bit tricky when you do it as badly as I do.As with my other similar Sharkoon case, the dust filter for the power supply dropped off the bottom of the case very quickly, which is really why it drops one star - maybe I'd give it 4.5 if I could.Case is quality for the price with no sharp edges like you get on the very cheapest - so many cuts from my early days building cheap PCs.

Just arrived late today, had the components installed and tested two hours later and it works nicely, so far. I do prefer the front mounted USB sockets and there is plenty of room inside for your hardware and cables. Right now it's very quiet in operation but it's very early days and I need to install an OS. Also came with a spare blanking place, which was a nice touch.The blue lights are bright and clear and it was easy to get into and easy to install the hardware, with room for more.Would recommend for someone who wanted something a little more colorful than a black box and is prepared to pay for the necessary PSU etc.

Case build is not great but there is plenty of room in the case for ventilation. Comes with 3 fans ( 2 front and 1 rear) one of the fans only had 2 of its blade lights working. Had to disconnect 2 of the lights next to the USB on the front as they were way too bright. Not the best case for keeping the sound down too but it's built quite solid. I was in a rush and this case was available to me to be delivered fast. For the price it's ok but personally I would pay a little more for a better brand. However it was easy to build in with plenty of room and lots of ventilation. I just went back in the case and swapped the fan with the light not working correct and switched it with the one in the rear. This was my first pc build so it was good to learn with. I would spend more next time but in the same breath it's not that bad that it warrants me taking everything out and installing it into a new case. Unless I get bored

Well designed and light, it has sharp edges due to have thin structure. worth the purchase.The two front fans stooped working after 10 months one after the other. It's a very disappointing that the fan is 5mm narrower than standard fans, I can't ask the seller and when I searched their amazon page they don't even sell this kind of fans. I called amazon and they send me a replacement case. Thank you amazon for your great service!!! <3

This PC case works a treat - Is sturdy and comes with all the things you will need. Note my first case had water damage but was enchanged with no fuss and am really happy - Lots of space for wires and fittings - Thunbs up from me.

Nice, aesthetically pleasing case that comes with everything you'd expect from it. Well packaged, safely delivered and delivered early, too. Quick power test on the LEDs with my old PC parts and thy work like a charm.Not too flashy, not too basic, just the right blend that i like. This case manufacturer has definitely earned a future customer if I ever find myself building another PC. I just hope the rest of my parts arrive in this state. Top notch purchase, glad i chose this case
