Like seemingly every air mattress in the world, ours sprung a leak. I was about to order a new one, but decided that I would see if I could actually find the leak and fix it.I pumped up the air mattress to a "very full" level and then started feeling around for the hole. It took a few mins, but I eventually found it by just running my hand over the mattress. Didn't feel like messing with soapy water, so I was glad it worked out this way.It was a pair of small holes that looked suspiciously like they came from the cat, but he swears he didn't do it. I probably didn't need to, but I patched mine in two passes. On the first pass, with the mattress much more loosely inflated (but the spot with the holes not touching any other part of the mattress inside), I sqeezed a little bit of the glue into each hole to give it a chance to bond itself back together a bit. I let that sit overnight. There wasn't enough pressure inside the mattress to blow the glue out, just enough to keep me from gluing the hole area to another part of the mattress.About 24 hours later, I did more like the instructions said. I cut one of the patches to size, spread glue on it, and adhered it to the now-deflated mattress. I set a weight on it (I used a 10 pound kettlebell that wasn't serving any other useful purpose) and let that sit another 24 hours.Worked like a champ. The mattress held up great for the 5 nights that I needed it to, so this wound up being substantially cheaper than buying a new mattress!

I have a huge, 4 foot diameter inflatable globe that I use in my classroom. It’s a real crowd favorite among students. Unfortunately, one day it got “accidentally” launched at the ceiling and a sharp edge punched a hole through it. Needless to say, we were all devastated… then this patch kit came to the rescue. The patch and the adhesive are completely clear in color, so you can’t even tell that Africa has been split in half and mended back together. It has been a few weeks and it has not leaked at all, so no complaints with quality or performance. The adhesive had a pretty strong smell until it cured, but there’s no trace of it anymore. Very satisfied with this product.

A small rock fall on my windshield while driving on the freeway. I was told that the scratch would most likely get bigger and I would have to replace the entire windshield. I was afraid but I bought this, at least to delay the change, and it really worked. It's been more than 9 months, and there are even days where I don't even notice where was the problem. I purchased this glue to see if I could patch an air mattress that had popped due to a cigarette hole. I did not clean the area around the hole nor did I trim the edges of the hole making the surface flat again but....it still worked!!! I am impressed with the two year shelf life of this product as well. IT REALLY IS AS EASY AS IT SOUNDS!

I applied it per instructions. Then I re-applied a larger patch over the first patch with glue all around the seams. It does not work the air mattress is still leaking air from the tear. The glue is very runny and does not appear to solidify and cure well . I also applied weight to the surface and that did not seem to help. I think it might be that modern mattresses have the fuzzy texture on the outside and the patch and glue don’t seal well on it since it’s not smooth plastic or rubber. Seller suggested re-doing it with less glue applied. Seller was responsive and helpful I would rate the seller a 4 star for the follow up and standing by the product.

LOL at any reviewer who tries to use PVC glue to repair a rubber bicycle tire.Now that that is out of the way, this stuff worked great for me. Have an inflatable neck pillow that is apparently no longer made and the pvc plastic inflatable insert developed a rip near a seam. This is an extremely difficult repair due to the stress on the materials at the location.As with anything proper preparation and usage are key. Cleaned the area with acetone to ensure no oil contamination. Applied the glue to the over-sized patch and wrapped it around both sides of the seam, braced it and then clamped it. Left it clamped to dry and cure for 24 hours.BOOM. No leaks.
