Must buy clear ice make. Best bang for your bucks!
I just received my clear ice cube maker. It work perfectly. Just allow for 30hrs of freezing and the cube comes out clear. Allow to sit for a few minutes after taking out freezer before trying to remove cube tray

Use filtered water for best results!
Okay, I've had ice molds in the past but have never managed to do the clear ice like others. This thing however simple it may look, produces clear ice cubes with essentially MINIMAL user effort. When filled properly(use filtered water) and after it's frozen for 50 hours, all you need to do is harvest the ice. The bonus is there is block of ice underneath the molds. This makes for something extra as you can cleave it off and use the remainder as ice to put in your cocktail shaker---since it can be carved into any size chunk. The cubed clear ice mold after removal needs to set for about 5-10 minutes. They wont melt, but it will make it easier to remove them from the silicon mold. Put them in a freezer bag and they will not stick together. Before you put your clear ice cube in your cocktail, let it "temper" for 5 minutes at room temp. This will make it even clearer and it will not crack when you pour liquid over it.I'm super impressed with this product.

It works!
This has been making 8 ice cubes every 2 days for me. This is the max you will get so plan accordingly. The cubes are clear, all the impurities get trapped in the block of ice below the cubes. I don't do anything special other than filling with filtered water.

Clear ice!!
This cooler works well. However, it takes a lot longer to for the ice to freeze and it’s a bit awkward to get the cubes out of the mold. Once you get that spectacularly clear cube in your glass, you forget about the fuss. Well worth the effort if you appreciate perfection.

Difficult to remove ice but easy maintenance.
The silicone would make it easy to clean and refill however removing the ice cubes was really difficult. For whatever reason the ice would stick aggressively and I had to have my fiance remove them for me.Also, I noticed if you use some and refill while others are still frozen in there, the new refills take a rounded bottom shape. That’s usually when it gets hardest to remove them. So use them all before you refill the empty tray for easier use and nicer cubes!

Great product and produces nice ice as long as you don’t overfill!
I’ve seen some reviews that indicate that this doesn’t work so well, but I think most of the problems have to do with people overfilling it. Fill it up about 4/5 of the way, and then freeze for about 48 hours and you’ll have eight exquisite, super clear 2 x 2 cubes.

Horrible chemical smell
Immediately hit in the face with an intense plastic chemical smell from the silicone parts. I tried several methods to clean it before using to get rid of the odor. White vinegar, boil, baking soda, even baking. Nothing got rid of it. Absolutely not appropriate for food.
