Old brushes for my Makita bhp485 combi were down to almost nothing.Very easy to replace & after about 10 mins of use, bedded in nicely.

Saved my combi 458
I’ve had my 458 combi for years and it’s never let me down.I was taking on a particularly hard and long duration task and my drill packed up, the guide lights were on but the chuck wouldn’t turn.I thought I’d try replacing the brushes and these were the cheapest OEM I could find.Next day delivery was a nice touch with prime and for a fiver I thought I had nothing to lose.The replacement is easy enough with plenty of YouTube videos to guide you.I replaced the brushes and great news, my drill lives again, it also feels tighter in useSimple to use, cheap and delivered quickly, what’s not to love
