Works well
Is it perfect? No. But with most auto irrigation systems you just have to know how to resolve them. This system is really good, I did have a siphoning issue as other reviews have stated but that’s easily corrected by piercing the hose at the highest point with a tiny pin hole. This allows air to go in after it shuts off and prevent the siphoning effect.I added a solar powered bubbler so the water did not get stale or stink and put a hole in the top for the tube. The control instructions are difficult to understand but there is a video here in the reviews section and after you figure it out it’s simple enough.Appreciate that it keeps the memory of the program times even after power loss.Overall a good product and would recommend.

Did it Work!
YES!!! Happy to say that it was a 1/2 to full day project but it definately worked while I was on vacation. To me, the biggest hurdle was getting the hoses "heated up" so they were plyable enough to get on! But that means they wouldn't leak and they don't. I'm a 62 year old woman, I'm not feable but I'm just saying devote some time to this. It will be worth it to go away and not worry your plants aren't getting watered. Definately watch the Timer Video, pausing to read the instructions. Once you learn the button sequence you'll get the hang of it. Also, it keeps the setting once set. It was useful so I could test the sprayers and figure out how much water was enough each watering. Give yourself some time to test that out before going away. I tested mine for a week so I could observe everything went smoothly and it did! There was one piece in the package that must be an extra. it was an elbow piece for the water level. Anyway, it was worth it.

Wouldn’t buy. Leaks.
To start off. There are so many better ways to package this besides just throwing everything into the bucket. Second, can’t you include grommets to actually seal the holes? Followed your lovely instructions and this doesn’t seem right. Tested it and it leaks from every spot these grommets are.

Very easy to use.
Its perfect. We use it to water 6 plants.

Good idea, but quality not great.
I liked this idea for watering outdoor plants while away for short trips, and it worked ok for a month or so before the motor inexplicably stopped working rendering the whole system useless. The motor is also very confusing to program because the instructions are poorly written. I’m going to look to see if there are replacement motors because when it runs, it works well. But it needs to run. A timer similar to the ones used for lights would work much, much better.

Out of the box
Out of the box, it seems to be a pretty simple system. Quality doesn’t seem bad. Maybe a bit on the cheaper side but I can’t say how it works. Will update if I decide to use this spring.

Works well, add a 2nd reservoir with a drill and 3/8mm bit
The media could not be loaded. Pro tip: after assembling, take the blue plastic water gauge out, but leave both of the rubber seals plugged into the bucket. Insert some of the smaller 1/4mm tubing provided into the bottom rubber seal. Take another 5 gallon bucket, drill a 3/8mm hole at the same height as the first bucket’s bottom seal. Remove the rubber seal that was holding the top of the water gauge, insert it into the hole you just drilled. Insert the small rubber tubing into this bucket as well. Now you have a 10 gallon reservoir instead of 5 gallons.Used it for a week in a 4x4 tent while I was on vacation and it worked well. 45 seconds per 24 hrs on the timer, fully open drips if they’re all being used.

I have NEVER been able to make this work
The directions are incomplete and a poor translation from the original Chinese. No brand name. Nothing product support. Nothing online. Frustrating as hell
