This fuel pump is suppose to be 2 piece to ease the install it wasn't upon installation broke it this, it's not reliable. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR CHEAP PART

The price was right and the part was perfect

Works well and has been installed for 5 months and now fuel gauge stopped working.
Somewhat difficult to install if the gas tank is not completely empty on VW Passat, otherwise no issues and works well. Fuel gauge stopped working at 5 months so the resistor or float is likely bad. Car still drives so the fuel pump works.I reached out to the seller as the fuel pump has a 1 year warranty. He sent me a new pump which I installed and works well so far. Old pump has a broken plastic flange of sort that holds the float in place. The plastic flange had broken after 5 months and might have been cracked during install of the pump 5 months ago.
