What you’d expect
This is exactly what I expected. My 4 year old loves it, she can use it easily. She is bummed that it doesn’t light up but I told her it’s just a training light saber and once she masters it she can move up to the next level of light saber. I did also see these at Target, when I purchased it was a few dollars cheaper on Amazon.

Fun for the price
My kid wanted a lightsaber when I got a nice one, out of fear for my home and personal injury, I wanted something a bit more her speed (for now). This worked for all of us and she loved it.It's simple, no sound, decent quality, still fun for the little ones. Decent toy version from the show too.

No lights or sounds
I bought this for my daughter because she always wants to play with her brothers. I like that it is smaller so she can handle it better. I was slightly disappointed it doesn’t light up or make any sounds, but for the price over all it’s good.

Kids loved them!
Our boys are 3, 5 and 7, and they each got one for Christmas as it was on their list. They love shaking them open and play fighting. I also like that the retracting feature means they can't actually jab each other 🙈🤣

Good for toddlers
Got other ones for my older kids for Christmas, but got this one for my toddler so she wouldn't feel left out.
