Price cant be beat and theyre compatible with my Original Toyota part. Saved me $400+ vs. What Wal Mart was going to charge
2004 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4.7 (perfecto!)Simple, ONE of these was $130 at Wal Mart, $71 through my local Toyota Dealership and $40 each on Ebay (but you had to purchase a 4 pack.I purchased three of these for $85, but first called my toyota dealer to cross reference the part. Cross reference was perfect, these Dorman 974-033 TPMS are the EXACT same ones on Ebay for $40 each (and you can purchase them separately). All in all what was going to cost me over $500 plus tax (at WAL MART!!!) ended up costing me $85 with free two day shipping.Took em to Wal Mart, they installed my new Bridgestone Dueler HT's and the 3 new TPMS pieces. No issues at all and I'm out the door a happy man.P.S. There's a LAW in place now that says a tire business cannot leave you inoperable. YOu don't have the option to bypass th TPMS valve stems for the $1.50 valve stems we all know and love. Remember that and shop Amazon.com.Steve J.

Clone your TPMS sensors to either replace your sensors or run a second set of wheels. Great product.
Very good product and I saved a lot of money cloning my TPMS sensors rather than replacing them. I wanted to own two sets of wheels and Dorman offers a great solution. My stock wheels have my OEM TPMS sensors. My aftermarket wheels have my cloned sensors. Potential customers must look at Doman's Web Site first. Some Sellers have provided incorrect information regarding application or how to use the product. I have read several bad and/or irate reviews and the issues were do to wrong information provided. You must buy the Dorman TPMS programer if you buy the "Multi-Fit" sensors. The "Direct-Fit" TPMS sensors will work this most other TPMS programers. Look at Dorman's web site for the other brand listings. Remember: you will need to download Dorman's free download in order for the chosen programmer to identify your new Dorman TPMS sensors. This is a great product but you must research it so you select the correct style. Read carefully, watch the video the Dorman provides and you too will love this product. I hope this helps. Good luck.

as described
The item works perfectly. I was a little apprehensive, based on some of the other ratings. I spec'd this item for my particular model of car, '08 toyota corolla. I was able to encode the item's ID into my car's computer via a 3rd party. The item did not transmit a signal while uninstalled. I could not provoke it with a "wake up" or "turn on" procedure. Some people suggest magnets to wake these things up. I subjected it to 35psi pressure in a test vessel, and it worked as expected. I cannot comment on the battery life yet. In summary: ensure the code is entered in the cars computer and pressurize before concluding its defective.

Do Not Buy, If You Drive The Car Listed In Review
Bought these sensors to replace existing third party sensors in a 2007 Lexus ES350.After spending $200+ with my local shop and then a third party to get these programmed into the car 3 times. It would not stay connected for more than half a day.Do not waste your time with this product. Spend a little more and get another brand.I now have to buy a set from another company, pay to remove these from my rims and reinstall the other brands. Such a waste of my time and money.

Bye-bye flashing flat tire light
I have a 2006 Tundra that started showing a steady flashing of the dash low tire warning light, meaning that I was losing TMPS sensors and I didn't want to replace them one by one as they stopped working so I ordered five of the Dorman 974-033. They arrived in new packaging, boxed individually from the manufacturer. The price difference from buying them at the local Toyota dealer was huge and there was a considerable savings over NAPA, O'reilly's and Auto Zone. I had a local tire shop (shout out to WW in Boerne) swap them out and do the computer reset for $15 per wheel, and everything is back to normal. I'll update if any problems arise, but so far so good.

Easy and inexpensive installation with tire rotation
The tire pressure light was on in my 07 Camry Hybrid. At least one sensor had failed, which is pretty normal at 5-7 years. I took the Dormans to the store where I always buy tires and where lifetime rotation is part of the tire deal, so they could be installed when my tires were being rotated. The mechanic had an easy time of it, cleared the code, and programmed them in. Very reasonable, under $25 for the whole operation. He checked my spare, but it turns out it didn't have a sensor to begin with. Highly recommend!

Purchased this instead of OEM
This TPMS works fine. Overall cost for installing Dormans was more than expected since I had to pay extra $95 to have it programmed into my car. Otherwise, it would not work on my car. Since this was my first and only TPMS replacement, i do not know if the OEM product would require same service requirement and cost. Perhaps i would have still bought if i looked into it, who knows, but I certainly did not expect another $95 programming cost from reading this product information.Products works fine ...give 5 starsDescription.................give 1 star= average of 3 stars

Great price on a quality OEM part!
After inquiring to Amazon as to what constituted a "used" part -in this case, opened but never installed in a tire, I ordered 5 for my wife's car. They were installed and read immediately...a bit of challenge getting the car's ECU to retain the new ID's, but these TPMS units were perfect in every way -other than having been opened previously.

Tire Pressure Monitor System
I had them installed on my winter rims with my new winter snow tires and I was told that can't be initialized. When they work, they show 28 28 28 28 for a few seconds and dashes 99 % of the time. They were purchased for a 2016 Lexus, RX450H.When I ordered them, this was the recommended pressure monitor system that was suggested. Therefore, they are useless and would suggest that I be reimbursed for that purchase.

TPMS not compatible. Very disappointed.
Purchased 4 of these in Dec 2018. Took them to several shops to setup, including Lexus Dealership. Here is the result from Lexus: "Attempted to program aftermarket sensors (on winters). Sensors will program to vehicle however date would not be relayed. Sensors incompatible. CORRECTION: COULD NOT PROGRAM SENSORS."In the description, it says your TPMS is compatible with 2018 RX 350; however, that's not the case. Very disappointed.

Good for older Toyotas not newer
Should have had a precheck done on the sensors first it only works on 2nd Gen Tacomas 2015 and below. Checked out the website and it is claiming for current models of 3rd Gen Tacomas but won't program.. Overall the product is good but misleading as for range of what vehicles are actually covered

Works like charm
Got all four replaced on my Vemza. Installation went smoothly (both mechanical and pairing). One week on - working as expected, though the electrics guy was skeptical about the reliability. Will update my opinion in a year
