Not my first rodeo so decided to surprise announce and prank my husband at the same time with this . Such a fun and hilarious idea. Cute . Looks just like a scratch off no way to tell it’s not unless your scanning for the smallPrint in the back and even then it’s not obvious. The back and front look just like your standard lottery ticket.Perfect idea and purchase. He was fooled completely until the end until he finally caught on.

The film was difficult to scratch off when I tried one. We decided to use the edge of a spoon, which was good to remove the film, but the message began scratching off with the film. Not too badly. When it came time to surprise our family, it scratched off perfectly and everyone was so surprised by the “prize”! We put one in each of our moms’ Mother’s Day cards. There was a moment of confusion, then a pause… and then an extreme excitement!!

Haven’t used these, yet, but look fairly legit for someone who does scratch offs consistently. They are just a smidge bigger than a transitional $1 scratch off, and they do have a a dead give away if they read the back. So just mixing them with other scratch offs will do fine. Can’t wait to use them.

My sense of humor borders on annoying much of the time, and I regularly "miss" on jokes. That's what happened here.My partner is the one with female reproductive organs, and both of us are staunchly anti-birth. Not opposed to adopting or fostering, but we both have decided to not pass on our genes or go through the horrors of child bearing. I knew this from the beginning of our relationship, but my annoyingness got on the best of me when I saw these.When she scratched off the last one, there was nothing but a glare. When I mentioned she could give them out as jokes to others, she just said "No." To be fair, there is nothing funny about her lack of bodily autonomy; she's been trying to get a tubal ligation since before she was even a legal adult. No one listens.Whoops, I dropped the ball on this, but she did say "at least it was satisfying to scratch off." Can't win them all, and that's not the fault of the manufacturer at all. They're nice and relatively convincing for a $1 scratch off.

These cards are adorable and such a fun idea for announcing a pregnancy to friends and family. The cards scratch easily, just like a regular scratch-off ticket, and I love how the design doesn't give away the gag until the card is scratched off.

I think this is a fantastic product and perfect for our family who loves to do scratchers! I plan to use these for a future pregnancy announcement but tried out a practice one myself. The ticket looks like a legit scratcher you'd find at a random gas station machine and scratches off really nicely. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because on the back of the ticket it talks about it being a fake ticket and pranking other people, which is an obvious tip-off that something is happening, so you have to keep whoever is doing the scratcher from looking at it too closely. Otherwise, it's a great product and fun way to announce your good news!
