I bought my 300 ml tin more than 20 years ago and it is still fine today, I am so impressed that a year or two ago I went to the trouble of writing to the makers to commend them on a product that still works well after all these years.You can dip things in it and shear of the drips if they appear, but I also use a brush, usually a cheap old one that I can throw away as I am not buying thinners at today's prices.Good for tool handles, making metal non slip, there must be dozens of uses for it perhaps on the makers website.One of the best purchases I ever made; it may be a bit thicker these days and I ensure I hammer the lid on lightly whenever I use it.But I see that some people are now asking £90 a tin. As to aerosols I think there are cheaper types of product on the market to protect or make non slip.
