I have a window in my bathroom. As you can see I used the velcro since it's going to be stationary. When it says blackout. It means blackout. Since I just didn't want to be seen and have sunlight I put the velcro halfway too. The velcro holds well. Putting the blackout window to the top is easy. I cut the velcro pieces in half. It does smell funny at first. The smell goes away quickly. The directions are not the best so be creative.

First off, you have to remember that this is not a insulation product. This is mainly a blackout. So, I hung it up on the side of my house that gets the hottest part of the day. It totally blacks out the sun. BUT--when you put your hand close to the blackout sheet, it is hot. Also, the only other thing bad I could say about these would be it keeps falling off the top of the wall. Now, the strips are very sticky, but again, MY thoughts are that the sun sort of melts the sticky part and causes it to let loose of the sheet. But I would recommend these. This is all an easy fix I'm sure. I only put 3 sticky strips on each side. I'm sure if I put more, then it would work. So I for sure would buy this again.

It was very easy to cut to size and install. A couple of different mounting options and comes with everything you need. Portable if needed.

I got these as my son is always complaining about light in his room, I had to cut it to fit the window, but since he has a double window had to piece it together. Needless to say, they were up a day, and then taken down as light still got through. Pain to even put up too. Back to black out curtains for us. They might work well with single windows too.

We have these all over the house! We rent and our house is “lucky” enough to face the east for sunrise. While the back of the house is completely exposed the other half of the day. Living in Las Vegas where there are no clouds the house quickly gets heated up. This has helped fight off the heat and help keep the temp down and AC costs. All without having to use aluminum foil as others do because they are in rentals. Great buy all around!!

This is so much better than the competition. I tried the others on amazon and they were bulky heavy and didn’t block every crack. This one sheet covered two windows for me. As you can see in my photos I wasn’t able to fit my hand in the cracks of my windows behind my blinds but that’s not the products fault. This will do just fine for our baby and I like that these are “hidden” behind my blinds so the rooms aesthetics haven’t been compromised. The other plus is because I used velcro when we want to open the window I can just peel it off for the day and then put it back up with ease. Perfect!

This was very easy to hang with Velcro sticky tabs it comes with. Darkens the room perfectly but also easy to roll up or take off. Only down side the smell I of the plastic is horrible! Probably very toxic with what ever chemicals are in these coverings. Sadly was a game changer for baby’s room. We did use in an office, but had to abort using anywhere else. I would have love to give it 5 stars as it does what it’s supposed to, but the smell is too much.

I like the neat packaging and the lightweight material very effectively blocks the light. The cutting tool worked great, too. The problem I encountered is that the sticky backing of the Velcro tabs won’t stay stuck to my metal window frame, even though I cleaned it first as per the instructions. I may buy some 3M Velcro tabs separately and try again.
