Works as good as OEM an a great price
TLDR: it fits, it works, it lasts, it charges. I used this with the ego chainsaw and trimmer. It fits and works perfectly. One thing I read in prior reviews that gave me pause was that the charger wouldn’t shut off when the battery was full. Not the case! My stock charger shuts off automatically when the battery is full. Buy it!

It does the job
Works like it should, as good as OEM, costs less! Charges just as fast, holds the charge like a new battery.

Excellent value
Let's first keep in mind the reason anyone would consider this product - it is literally one third the price of the same size Ego brand battery. So keep that filter in mind...and I'm happy with my purchase. I didn't want to be spending nearly $300 for the replacement of one of my older 5.0 mAH Ego batteries...and I'm satisfied with this. Two downsides that I had read about and that are annoying:First, the battery doesn't "communicate" well with the Ego chargers. So when it is completed charging, the four lights stay green, but the fan stays on and it appears to be still charging. So you don't want to leave this in the charger overnight; keep an eye on it. And second, the battery does take more time to charge than the Ego batteries do. I'd say it takes a good hour or more to charge from empty. Oh, and a third low level point - you don't get a "red light" warning on this battery. When it's running low, it's suddenly DONE. :P With the Egos, my mower lets me know a good 10 minutes or so in advance (depending on how thick the grass is; could be five minutes or less in the thick stuff). With this battery, even in light grass, the light is green and then...Done.But all of that said, it's under a hundred bucks (currently on sale for eighty, and I paid ninety, go figure), it's slightly lighter weight than the Egos, it's a third or better than the cost, and it works well.I've used mine about six times this year so far, and it gives me around 50 minutes mowing time in light / dry grass, about half that in the thick / moist stuff.Recommended, excellent, excellent value per dollar.

Works fine with all my EGO tools and is MUCH less expensive than OEM.
I have had this battery for about a month and probably used it 6 times. It charges quickly and runs my tools without complaint. Others reported that the EGO charger does not stop running the fan when the battery is completely charged. After fully charging the battery, my charger continues to run for about 10 minutes then shuts off.So far I am pleased.

Same as EGO branded Batteries but MUCH Cheaper!
My original EGO batteries failed at the 10 year mark. I purchased these because EGO branded were more than twice the price. This battery works great and provides as much use as I remember the EGO brand did back in the day. I live in California so yard isn't huge but I'm able to mow approximately 750 sq feet of lawn with the mower, string trim front and back yard and still have enough to blow everything with the leaf blower. You've probably seen YouTube videos and my results were similar. I purchased two of them and probably only needed one!

Battery works great - save some money and grab one of these
I replaced a 7.5amp Ego brand battery with this 5.0 Ah replacement. I was a bit concerned that I'd run out of juice before finishing the yard, but haven't had an issue. My lawn takes about 45 minutes to mow and the battery lasts thru the end. My son cuts the lawn for a few of our neighbors, so this is getting used 4-5 times a week. I've had it all summer and waited before dropping a review just to make sure I didn't get a dud. No problems charging or holding a charge. The one thing I'll agree with other reviewers is that when I put it on my ego smart charger, the fan on the charger continues to run even when the battery is fully charger. Regardless, worth the money and definitely happy I saved more $ by not buying the OEM version.

Cheaper than my last double battery
Seems to be a good value for the money. It stopped charging halfway, but after I pulled it out and pushed it back in, it finished up to fully charged. The run time was similar to my other double battery

Battery run time
Doesn’t have the battery run time that original EGO battery has.
