This is actually quite good. If you don’t want or need a hard case, it’s highly recommended.Having used this extensively for a few weeks, there are two things going for it. First, it’s very comfortable. The grip is fantastic. Being lightweight, it doesn’t add to the strain at all, unlike another case I’ve used in the past.Next, it allows your deck to fit back into the original travel case. That’s amazing. A big issue with my previous case.For the negatives, they are minor. The fit on the deck is near perfect, but a few millimeter here and there could be better. I can’t think of anything else really.Overall, it’s a great case. Obviously, not being a hard case it doesn’t offer as much protection if you drop it. But, being so small, it’ll also not increase the thermals on the device. Recommended.

I wasn’t really sure if I needed this because I just had ordered my steam deck but these are awesome. These really help me hold the device good especially because my hands sweat. So far I haven’t had any problems with them and they fit on perfect. No problems with the buttons at all and it’s comfortable.

With the stock deck my clammy hands were always making long gaming sessions feel a bit sticky. It is much nicer woth the grips. Not only do they add a pleasant texture, but a little more airflow to your hands. Install was simple, but the silicon is very thin so be careful or it will tear at the seam. The fit is perfect and it grips perfectly to the deck. I never worrry holding it with one hand that the deck will slide out. I was worried prepurchase looking at it that the steam button or the lack of space around the abxy would be an issue, but if anything I think the new steam button is better than the original and the space around the abxy is more than enough and creates a nice tactile feel. Lastly I was worried the deck would no longer fit the stock case with these on, and while the fit is definitely a tad more snug now it is not at all an issue in the stock case on my oled.

These slip-ons fit well, give full access to all of the buttons, and do not block any of the air intakes, hot air vents or display areas.I have very much appreciated the protection these covers provide, but more so I appreciate the textured grip edges. I’ve since gotten a full-body hard case for my Steam Deck, but it doesn’t have the hexagon textured grips like with this product, and I regret now having removed this product from my Steam Deck.I have tried to place these grips over the full-body case, but they were fitted for the Steam Deck, not a SD Case.

Good material

I've been using these grip on my Steamdeck for over a year and a half and I love them. they make the handheld parts a little thicker, but much more grippier than the stock plastic on the Steamdeck. They do make the fit into the case a little tighter, but I haven't noticed any problems with my joysticks being pushed or anything.

I wanted to like this product so much because I wanted to protect my Steam Deck without adding extra bulk. Unfortunately, this is not for me.The thickness of the silicone grip is almost flush with the buttons and the D-pad, making it uncomfortable to press the buttons during gameplay. Additionally, if you have the OLED version, be aware that the "select" and "start" buttons are not centered. This isn't a deal-breaker for me, but I can see it being an issue for others.While this product offers some protection, and it's easy to install, its flaws make it unsuitable for my needs.
