Excellent value! Well made and perfect for daily home use.
It is an excellent computer and my go-to tech. It is well-made and looks good. I first bought an ASUS Chromebook for my mother, who struggled with Windows. I quickly realised that the Chromebook OS suited my lifestyle now that I have retired. It is quick to load up and perfect for emails, web browsing, video conferencing, and YouTube. It is fast, responsive, and ideal for my needs. Google has a comprehensive suite of apps, and my Windows laptop is only used for programs that are not cloud-based. Cloud storage is the way ahead and allows me to synch with my android phone: a perfect battery life and a good quality screen. I thoroughly recommend this product.

Best laptop ever!!!!
This was a life changing chromebook it changed my view on homework. I hated homework and it was very annoying but after I got this chromebook I found it fun because when you turn it on it lights up and the keyboard is good aswell. It’s also great to use for internet surfing and is easy to use.Very solidly built and robust in use. It’s also a nice slim design .The sound quality is great .

A worthy purchase.
A great little laptop. The backlit keyboard is a nice perk! This is my first Chromebook and it was so easy to set up, as easy as phones are these days. It's fast and lightweight with a long battery life. The only reason for not giving a full five stars is that the sound quality and volume isn't brilliant. If you're watching videos or movies on this, it'd help to connect to an external speaker.

Easy to Set Up and Works Well
Quick to set up and starts up fast. Linking Google accounts was simple, and everyone in the family could carry on using it without issues. Feels well built and handles everyday tasks with no problems. Good value for the spec

Quality Chromebook
Very nice. Got to replace a very old laptop. Performs well, can't see me going back to the operating system that needs updating and antivirus every day. Performance ,speed, display all very good. Boots on seconds, and being Android it ties in nice with my Android phone with connectivity.

(Almost) everything you need, nothing you don’t.
I decided to buy this for my non tech savvy mother who still uses a Nokia and has no interest in technology. A Chromebook was perfect for what she needed, which was a simple device for browsing, emails and watching YouTube etc.Once I set it up and removed a bit of bloatware my mother took to it quite easily, and several months later has had no issues as everything is simple and ‘idiot proof’, unlike windows machines. It remains to be seen how long it will last but the build quality seems good and the battery and storage are also generous for this type of device. The screen is better than expected also.Definitely a good option for those who know they only need a basic machine that has some future proofing built in.

So Far, So Good.
It has taken me awhile to get used to not having Microsoft Word, but now that I have more or less got my head around how to use Google Docs, I am very impressed with this laptop.Quick tip to those like myself and need to share my screen when using Skype, you must make sure that all of your Google Docs & files are available "offline" This took me 2 weeks to figure out! Overall, very impressed with the speed, screen quality and battery life, although the claimed "10 hour" battery life is an exaggeration, it's still good for a few hours, but certainly not 10. In my opinion, well worth the £250 I paid.👍

Great
UPDATE: Yes, this is a very good chromebook ... but after using it a little longer I have changed from 5 to 4 stars. Why? I mentioned the CB gets very hot ... but I bought a cooling pad that works very well. Good as it is .... it is very inconvenient to use with my CB on my lap (which I prefer). None of my other CBs (either high end or cheap) overheated. I have reduced the number of tabs I have open, and this has helped a little - but I am used to having multiple tabs open normally - without any problems.Several other things have annoyed me. I cannot login using my PIN, and the Dark Mode I prefer to use has changed the top bars etc. to a dirty brown colour. I have contacted Google, but (as usual) they were unable to help. I believe this is probably a flaw with Google Plus ... but it cannot seem to be rectified. A small problem ... but quite annoying.Another thing is the battery life. I thought it was good to begin with .... but now I only manage about 6 hours or less before it needs charging. Charging is quick though. No CB is perfect .... and for the price this is still a very good machine.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I love chromebooks ... and have had quite a few over the years. The last one I had (a Samsung) reached the end of its life .... but I have kept it as a backup.PROS ... Fast (well they all are at the beginning), efficient, and well built. The battery life is good and it re-charges quickly. I really like the keyboard for typing and it is backlit which is a bonus. Smooth touch pad. Good screen quality and the sound is better than my Samsung. It was very reasonably priced. I have learned that you don't need to spend a fortune - since they all wear out in about 4-5 years anyway - however much you have spent.... but do check the end-time date before you buy.CONS ... a depressing dark grey colour / quite heavy (metal) / gets quite hot (but I really push it to the limit) ... so I have just ordered a cooling pad as I like to use mine on my lap.OVERALL, a nice little chromebook. I don't think you will find anything better at this price ... so I can certainly recommend it.
