RESPeRATE Soft-Tones Pillow-Top Stereo Speakers with Volume Control

I'm enjoying this speaker system but I need to attach it better to my pillow. It doesn't sound (to me) as good as it should inside a pillow case. On the plus side, the outside sound is good and there's no pressure on my ear.I get a good nights comfortable sleep without disturbing anyone.

I bought a sleep machine with nature sounds and this pillow speaker as a gift for my mom for Mother's Day. She is in her 70's and has been having a terrible time with insomnia over the past few years. This little pillow speaker is great! You can't hear it at all if you're head isn't laying on it, like if you're sitting up in bed, which is great for my dad while he is sleeping next to her. But when you lay your head on it, the sound is clear, rich and enveloping since it has 2 speakers - one for each ear. The volume control slider switch is a GREAT feature so you don't have to try fumbling with the sound machine in the dark. The switch is right there on the cable, close to the speaker too so it's easy to reach. The presentation was also nice. It came in a nice heavy drawstring black bag inside the box, which I assume is for traveling or just to keep it clean if you store it away for a while. The entire unit is flexible, so it bends easily with your head whether you're laying directly on it or laying on your side. This is definitely a winner and my mom loves it. I couldn't be more pleased. Now I told my husband that I want one for my birthday so I can listen to my old radio shows in bed. :)

I performed a sound test with a sleepsonic pillow speaker and this soft tones pillow speaker. The soft tone had no bass whatsoever and just plain cheap sounding. Defective? Idk. The sleep sonic pillow speaker was excellent.

It’s ok, but it’s not quiet all. My husband can hear it even when I turn it down as quiet as possible. I tried turning it down until he could no longer hear it, but then neither could I. It’s also big and bulky. So as nice as it is, good quality, I don’t see the point to it unless all you want to accomplish is to get your cell phone farther away from you at night. Cord isn’t super long though. Stereo sound effect is great if you are on your back, but it loses that the moment you roll to your side.It also cost too much money. The $30 Sangean Pillow speaker that I purchased previously goes under your pillow, your spouse can’t hear it and it lasted about 6 months before the cord failed - was a much better option if you want it to be quiet.

I like the sound and not needing to ut my headphones on. It is not quite as comfortable to sleep with as I had hoped.

This is the BEST THING since sliced bread! And I don't say that lightly. I'm into 'Frequency Healing', (Isochronic and Binaural Beats), and so use this all over my body... for whatever particular organ or ache-and-pain is giving me discomfort. This is important for me as I have always had trouble FALLING asleep and STAYING asleep. Now, I fall asleep within 10-15 minutes and stay asleep... even when I have to get up to go to the bathroom, I fall right back to sleep and stay asleep... waking up quite refreshed in the morning. Whereas before, I always felt like I hadn't gotten any sleep at all. I also very much appreciate the VOLUME CONTROL on Pillow Speaker which allows me to adjust the Volume as I'm lying there, instead of having to turn on the light and fuss with the Boombox Volume Control itself.*** My particular suffering these days is Peripheral Neuropathy in my FEET due to Type II Diabetes. I'm using the Isochronic and Binaural Beats to cure myself of this malady, and place my feet on the Pillow Speakers, the Headphones on my head. Sometimes, I also turn the Headphones so that one of the Speakers in on my Crown Chakra, the other under my chin. I have had great success with all these methods. My Type II Diabetes is getting much more under control, and the PAIN in my feet has been reduced at least 70%.I'm going to purchase another one of these Pillow Speakers for when I don't want to use my Headphones, but rather want to have my Feet upon one, and lay on the other so the Frequencies are going right into my Spine. Did I say I LOVE THIS THING? *lol* Oh, yeah... I sure do, and can't recommend it highly enough.

They were hard and uncomfortable. Put my head in an uncomfortable position. The sound was just okay not great.

This is a wonderful speaker pillow. I purchased the speaker pillow for my 92 year old mom who is hard of hearing and who was going into a nursing home and wanted to be able to watch TV and be able to hear the sound without bothering her roommate. The speaker pillow is perfect. She loves it and uses it all the time and has no problem hearing her TV. However, about two months after we purchase it, the connection to the left speaker broke and my mom could only hear out of the right speaker. I wrote to the company and told them what had happened. They sent me a replacement speaker pillow. This is a wonderful company and really cares about their customers. I would highly recommend this pillow as it not only plays loud enough for people who are hard of hearing, but it is also comfortable.
