Awesome fine motor activity
I was looking for fine motor activities to help my daughter and she really likes this game. She is 4 and a half and does well trying to match the pictures that come with it. As a bonus my 1 and a half year old just puts them on and is getting practice too

Fun but supervise and watch fingers
My 18 month old and 3 year old have had a lot of fun using this. We just used it for the first time today. I sat them at the table cross from me as I did homeschool with my older daughter. It kept their attention and is good for their fine motor skills. However, watch littles fingers. Supervise your little ones while they are using it. My 18 month old got his finger stuck inside one of the little holes and we had to smear vaseline on the area to get it out. I was able to help quickly because I was watching him the whole time he was using it. He is a smart boy and didn't do it again after that. It is also a choking hazard for littles which is probably why the youngest recommended age is 2. But I watch carefully and my son is really good to not put things in his mouth if I tell him not to.

Using in a group learning setting
These are fantastic for our learners. We are trying to teach fine motor skills with this item, but the additional ways to use it make it extra functional beyond fine motor skills. The beads are easy for small hands. Our students are neurodiverse and they find these to be a fun interactive learning toy. The beads slide on easily, you can tip it to empty the beads. Once a student has mastered putting these on, we can try patterns, we can try adding, sorting by color, patterns, creative inspiration, counting. So as a learning tool, it can be used in multiple learning situations.

Not super safe
This is a great concept and my 2 year old loved it but after she quickly understood how to master this toy, she started finding new ways to play with it. She would put the ball shapes in her mouth and run away or she would grab the wooden holder and run and fall with it. She banged her mouth on it. I realized very quickly that this toy cannot be out and she needed close supervision while playing with it. However, once I wouldn’t allow her to do anything but use it correctly, she lost interest in it fast. Now this is just my experience with my daughter. Other people might have better luck but be cautious of these possible scenarios.

Love this for my preschooler
Our 2 year old loves this for sorting colors right now. I do like that we can start with simple color and shape recognition now, and continue using it as intended as she grows. The color selection is bright and vibrant, making it easier to hold her attention, too. We make patterns of our own and enjoy stringing the beads together with the wooden "needle" and thread. This is perfect for someone that is looking to fine tune their little one's motor skills and the cards that came with the game are excellent for critical thinking. I'm looking forward to playing with this with her for years to come!

Great wooden matching game with bonus carrying bag to keep everything together
I got this to use in my pediatric PT practice because it’s colorful and has lots of pieces that can be used during obstacle courses. I really like the cards with the different patterns to do as it adds interest and a cognitive component to an activity. I also really like that it has a carrying bag to keep all the pieces together.
