Good deal
Just as the add stated. I have no problem putting 700-800 pounds on this. If i needed to lift much more, I don’t think I would put much faith in any of these shop cranes. This one seems to be built well and will do everything I need it to do. It was worth the price.

Crap
No instructions and the hole on the ram wasn't drilled all the way through. I had to take it to a machine shop and have them finish drilling the hole. Overall a crappy product that I wouldn't buy again

Needs modifications to safely use.
I have pulled 4 engines with this so yes it works but build quality is questionable and the hardware is horrible.Build quality: I found it necessary to weld the inside of the lap where the base becomes the base for the legs. Only 2 small tacks from the factory. The front wheels are fixed (in some photos they are casters. This is a really bad design as there is no way you can move a full load without dragging these wheels.Hardware: Ridiculous that they supply threaded hardware in several places that have a load applied to the threaded area.I cut the front stationary casters off and replaced with swivel and this was a game changer. The question is do you really want to trust the quality for something that could really ruin your day if it broke.

it performs the job
easy'ish to put together. there were some things they definitely cut costs on but used it to swap an engine out of my old chevy truck seemed good enough the main cylinder started dropping after holding it for a while though.

BENT on 1st use.
crane extension bar crushed/bent while lifting (GM350) engine from the bay on 1/4 ton extension.Had to smash with sledge to knock it back to 1/2 ton.(thin metal)Also beware, the angle bars for stabilizing, are extremely sharp on the fingers. It did the work I wanted it to do.. with the exception of the broken crane. (still operates but it's extension is bent severely.)
