This sketchbook is the fanciest one that I’ve ever had! It feels extremely high quality, the paper is nice weight (for my purposes), and the packaging is immaculate. It almost felt like I was opening an Apple product! Everything about this sketch book is amazing!With that said; it would seem that the amazing quality comes with an unexpected side effect… you almost don’t want to use it. Personally I started to stress about every little sketch I made. Every detail had to be perfect. It’s not ideal, because a sketchbook is a place to explore and experiment with new ideas, and I found myself playing it safe.This is entirely a personal thing for me, so I’m not gonna dock the product itself for that. I’m just bringing this up incase anyone might be able to identify with this feeling. I still really recommend this product (even though it certainly isn't cheap).

My husband loves these sketchbooks. He says the paper is very high quality and the size for the price is remarkable and the best I was able to find online.

I bought one of the big sketchbooks a little while back and fell in love with it… a nice dark green one. I liked it so much, in fact, that this purple one is my second purchase.It’s exactly like the green one in every single way, except that it’s purple. (Brilliant observation, I know.)Good quality, boxed nice, would make a great gift for that artist in your life who loves the challenge of a ginormous sketchbook.Or heck, get it for yourself! You deserve something nice for putting up with life and what it throws at you. Sketch your woes away on some nice, thick, creamy paper in a very well made book.I use mechanical pencils, pigma micron pens (the boldest lines, size 12), colored pencils, Tombow markers, Posca paint markers, and some pretty heavy watercolor washes, and it holds up like a champ, with only light paper wrinkles… hardly noticeable at all.Imma be honest, tho. Watercolor doesn’t lay down great on it. No big deal to me, because so many other mediums work great! As for alcohol markers, well… if you like making art, you know what I’m about to say. Alcohol markers will bleed through badly, but that’s the case with any sketchbook.The paper is super smooth, but be aware that if you’re using micron pens, you’ll see the ghosting on the next page. I don’t mean on the back. On the next page. Like if you’re flipping through the book, you’re going to see a drawing before you turn to it.But if you’re going to make a colorful, finished piece, you’re not going to see through it at all, especially using heavier mediums like poscas and such. It blows my mind how the paper can be so thick, yet so translucent all at the same time.Now, with that being said, keep in mind that I use very bold, black line work, and if you sketch with a pencil, you’re not going to get any ghosting at all.Anyway, five big ol stars! And I mean, big. Like big ol northern stars hanging over a factory full of sketchbooks, guiding you to sketchbook salvation!Too much? Yeah, I ‘spose. I’m just saying it’s really cool is all.

This has been amazing for watercolors. The paper is gorgeous and doesn’t warp. The book is huge, so I use it at set desk and not to travel with, but I’ll get another from the same line for travel. Beautiful binding and well worth the money.

This is such a quality sketch book. My son used some of his money to buy it and wanted another immediately upon receiving it. It is so nice. It comes in an elegant box, the pages are nice and thick, and the whole book feels like quality.

Now I have the sketch book I've been wanting for larger projects, with excellent paper. I use pencil. I'm a former art student of the Art Institute in Chicago.

This sketchbook comes beautifully packed in a nice box and the book is huge with nice thick pages that can tear out

The ribbon was carelessly put into the book, ruining 2 pages. Plus there are around 10 pages with dings or small bends in them.
