Rain not stopped play.
This is just a lovely little game, simple, but fun, and takes me back to my childhood, when dice games on a wet afternoon were just as much fun as playing Cricket outside. This game has clear instructions, not too many dice, so it is not too complicated, there is a scorecard and overs used all within the compact tin, which is great as it doesn't take up too much space, which is just as well, because these days, I tend to play this in the pub, so more room for my pint! Great little game.

I say old chap, jolly good shot!
Cricket is my favourite sport and thought I would buy this to play against friends and I must admit, it does not disappoint. I find this a much better game than HOWZTHAT! as Sticky Wicket lasts a little longer. I decided on this version as you can play all forms of the game (T20, One Day and Test matches). I have enjoyed playing this and it is great to put into your pocket to take down to the pub to play against your mates. Great fun and if you are a fan of Cricket, this little game will appeal to you.

house rules can easily be applied to make the run rate for each ...
A neat quick time filler, which takes between 30 minutes - 2 hours, depending on your selected game type. (From 20 overs up to full tests are possible) To facilitate reality, house rules can easily be applied to make the run rate for each cricket type more realistic. For example, in 20 over games, the bowler rolls 6 times per over (one roll = one ball) HOWEVER this method gives an unrealistically high run rate for 4 or 5 day games, so in these games, the bowler rolls a reduced rate of 3 times per over. (One roll = 2 balls). The game plays well 2 player or Solo. The tin in which the game comes is neat for storeage but for game play, which necessitates handling very small counters, it's a bit fiddly and a note pad can be easily utilised. For those so inclined, a Cricket Score Book could be used with names etc being given to every player. There is no strategy, it's all pure luck...dice rolling decides everything. The plus side to this is that every outcome, be it an appeal or a huge hit, is absolutely random. The game has a strange addictive quality and as such is recommended for a light bit of fun.
