Dorman14043 Shift Cable Bushing Kit Compatible with Select Saturn Models (OE FIX)

Not very often the old Saturn needs some help, so I helped it out with this new shifter part and now I'm back on the road again.

Part fit awesomely in place. Saved me buying the entire transmission cables locally to get this one small part. Great price (I paid $17, I see the part is up to $40+ now). Time will tell how long this bushing lasts, but on my '97 car, I have a feeling it will long out last the car.

I put a 14043 in my 1996 Saturn SL2 (five speed manual tranny) when the original OEM broke at the cab end of the shift cable, many years ago. Perhaps six or seven years ago. Mine is still holding up fine. Simple long lasting fix.-Don-

Did not work, Like that product proclaimed it would. The ring would not stay in place, which was supposed to hold the shifting cable onto the knob of the Shifter. It popped off while I was driving down the road. Almost caused the accident because I could not shift Into I need gear app for a popup add to coast to the side of the road hoping other I'm coming traffic will let me over I'm coming traffic will let me Get over to the side of the road out of the way of oncoming Traffic safely. Very disappointed and upset that I wasted my money
