Bought these for a birthday in January and they are still up and working in May. They were a bit difficult to hang initially, but they have lasted a a long time. The kids love using the wand to turn the lights on and off. The string and tabs that they hang from aren’t very visible from a distance so the illusion is really cool. I only regret that we didn’t vary the length of the string when we hung them so that they looked more organic.

I cannot express enough how much I LOVE these floating candles. And the wand that comes as a remote to turn them on/off and make then flicker like actual firelight?? Are you kidding?! I bought these for a Harry Potter Movie Night for my husband and I and they could not have been more perfect. You will need to buy 30 AAA batteries, because each candle requires one and the wand requires two. Putting them together with the clear line is a task, but it is SO worth it. It probably took me about an hour to get them all put together and hung at various heights. But once they were up, the magic and whimsy that they added to the space was unmatched. We put them up in October and they stayed up all the way through Christmas until we took all of our decor down. We used them every night and the batteries only started going out until after Christmas. We got MONTHS of use out of them. I can't wait to put them up again this Fall!

The candles are great. They do not come with batteries and I would suggest getting rechargeable batteries if you are planning on using them a lot. The flickering light on the candles look more like twinkling stars than flickering flames, but the flickering is still really good. If you are planning on hanging them up on your ceiling permanently then I have some good news, the tabs hold up really well and I have had no problems with them. I do not know f they rip ceiling paint off, but I am not anxious to try that out until I have to. The wand works really well and you can turn them on and off without any problems, unless they are scattered around the ceiling, then you will have to click the wand once or twice to get them all on. Other than that they are perfect and are really worth the money.

My HP obsessed kiddo LOVES these!They DO TAKE a significant amount of time to “set up” (ie put batter in and tie the string) esp if you’re trying to make them all different legenth, etc, but they’re great! Haven’t fallen down. The flicker effect is great! The wand controller is awesome!

The floating candles look pretty cool when lit up. They were a great addition to our other Halloween decorations. We had them hanging by the porch over the front door.The wand that came with them was cute. The kids got a kick out of it.One complaint is that the sticky tape that they get hung up with worked a little too good. I can’t get them off of the porch ceiling without ripping paint off. So for now, I yanked the candles off and left the clips up. For this reason, I gave it a 4/5.

These are fun. You have to put an AAA in each one and hang with fishing line. They looked great! Expectopetronum!

These were ultimately really cute when I set them up but let me tell you...it was a lot of work to put together and impossible to get off my ceiling. You will need to measure, cut, and tie the fishing wire, attach and tie it to the candle tips, attach and tie it to the plastic ceiling piece and put batteries in all of them. Yes, I should have read the details before purchasing and I don't feel like these were falsely advertised in any way, they functioned well and for the money, they worked the way I expected. If you are planning to put these up, make sure you're okay with it being permanent because you can't redo them once they stick and they are really hard to get off your ceiling. I had to hire a painter to patch up our ceiling because it took the paint and a layer of the wall right off. Since they don't come assembled, I recommend purchasing small ceiling command hooks to hang them instead of the ones they come with.

Work great, easy install, look nice at night. Daughter loves it
