Great recipes . . . . this book is a classic, I have used it for years and given it as a bridal gift recently.

This little book is beautifully designed and enjoyable to read.It provides a feel for the warm, pleasant cultural environment said to be characteristic of Scandinavian friend and family gatherings.The recipes are very appealing and most don't look difficult. Many are described as family recipes, which adds to the interest and sense of authenticity. Our family had a Scandinavian-themed Christmas Eve meal this year which was a big hit, and inspired me to get this book to expand my efforts.The crafts, while very attractive, look easy to execute.If you like a low-key, farmhouse lifestyle, you may like this book very much.I look forward to exploring the recipes and crafts-glad I purchased this book, and recommend to others.

A wonderful read with all the classic Scandinavian favorites. Includes craft ideas to complete the festivities.
