Single polarity design, whatever. If you'll plug the lamp and it won't work, so change it's polarity. Low heating and low power consumption LED lamps. The dimensions are exactly the same with the classic halogen W5W lamp. It has no flickering effect, I've checked it by the cellphone camera.The brightness intensivety much higher, than typical halogen lamp has, BUT! The heating parameter is "almost not present", that's ideal IMO - a first point. The second - is the lowest current flow i ever seen with LEDs: 0.018A [0.018A*12,7V ≈ 0.23W-0.25W]. Such low consumption confirms (and explains) low heat as well.While a typical halogen W5W-type lamp "takes" 0.358A [0.358A*12,7V ≈ 4,6W / 13,7V*0.358A ≈ 5W] and it heats as an "oven"!So, the LED I've selected got nice warm-yellow color, eyes friendly (3000K i guess). It's even color-warmer (orange-closer), than the regular halogen lamp, check the images.The bulb got crystal acrylic cast design, that is totally isolated out of water or dust (exclude a contacts ofcause). It provides shade-less 360⁰ all-around illumination, that's matches with a halogen bulb mostly. I believe, such LEDs will last for a long.I got no idea about power stabilization system of this LEDs. If they supports only direct 12v or 14v DC, means they can burn out fast being connected upon engine start (for example). Actually this is (an inegrated current stabilization) is the unique point how such bulbs could brake down, IMO.Well, there is one bad point under all of that. The LED's contacts basement is bolder, than the halogen lamp has. I've inserted them into the same socket instead of my W5W lamps. The LEDs entered without damaging a socket, but so much tight, that i thought it'll brake something. bright and easy to use/replace LED light bulb

I replaced a few bulbs on my vehicles and they are bright and seem fine. I gave 3 stars for the installation due to a tight and sensitive fit. The last millimeter of insertion requires some force and a bit of fiddling to make the connection.

Great price and very bright, more in the package then I'm ever going to use, but I got them if needed.

Description is wrong. They are not 194 car. I should have trusted the other reviews. Poor quality and too fat to fit. That's probably why they send you 30, they're trying to get rid of them. Amazon for some reason cannot fix descriptions that are wrong. This has happened before on other items. It was also marked two day prime delivery, it took six days and the UPS tracking number said error until after it was delivered.

I'll tell you right up front that these are NOT bad LEDs. I ordered these because the price was great, and they have a decent rating. I opted for the "white", but when I got them they are really more of an icy-blue light, which bummed me out a bit. I installed a few of them in my truck interior....and......well...."meh". It's not a color that compliments anything really. Has an almost hospital lighting feel, if there is such a thing. The longer I've had them, the more inclined I am to go back to the warm glow of a regular bulb. The light output is fair. Not dim, but not as bright as I expected. They installed ok, but the flat portion IS thicker than a standard bulb. They put up a little bit of a fight, but I suppose they won't fall out either. Build quality does seem good, but it's just different.
