I bought this standing desk because one of my friend have a similar desk. And I am not feeling well with my neck and shoulders. Then I go on Amazon and found this.Shipping is fast. Received in good condition. As always, Amazon never let you down.The item itself is actually better than I expected. The structure is sturdy. Then I put this workstation on my desk. Adjusting the height is easy with the assistance of the gas spring.I have to say that it’s first time EVER I feel so relax to work with a computer after so many years. The stress on my shoulder just fade away when I work standing. And the neck and shoulder pain have just gone in the same second.Very good product. Fair price.Thank you so much.Highly recommended. These are OK for a generic. They do not compare with the premiums on a couple levels -They come with a stick on cable support which immediately falls off. You can add your own but these are critical to keep monitors or other equipment from getting pulled off the platform.They do not provide enough boost to the lift mechanism. There is an adjustment but it does nothing to change the lift boost. If you use larger monitors or add weight to the platform you may be subjecting users to back strain when they change the work height.

I put it on my old desk, place my computer on and then test raising and lowering it. The whole process is smooth enough. I think the 2 gas springs is a very good design. It helps pushing up the desk so I'm literally not lifting it, the desk itself is. What I did is just to stop at the height I like it to reach.The moment I stood up, my back pain relief in a sudden. The standing desk does the trick. Now, I have been using it for weeks, I really like this standing desk. I think I just cannot live without it now. LOL...It's a good purchase experience. This is a solid desk riser. It is very heavy and I recommend two people if you are not comfortable dead lifting 55 lbs. I have two screens at 24 inches each and it fits perfectly. One star removed for the limited height. I am 6'1" and had to place 4" monitor stands on of the riser. Without them, the tops of the monitor are well below my line of sight and not ergonomic. If you are 5'9" or below, you can get away without monitor stands.Keep in mind too that you have to lift the riser manually. So if you have 20 lbs of stuff on the riser, you need to be strong enough to pull up 20 lbs at a 90 degree angle. Not for those with bad backs.Recommended.
