I bought these lights as an experiment to see if they would be easy to use and whether they would add much to our holiday decorations. They are a responding success for bringing a bright creative look to our home during the holidays, and because they are battery powered, waterproof, and last a long time, I don't have to worry about running wires that must be protected from moisture to prevent shorts.The only time consuming part of installing and using them is in carefully spreading out the strands of lights to achieve an even globe of illumination. But once that's done there is no maintenance, special care, or on and off to manage.The remote is cleverly IR controller, so it only controls the light you are pointing it at. It allowed me to select between eight different flashing patterns, to adjust the peak brightness, and most importantly to have it turn on and off automatically. This is done by first turning the lights onto the flashing pattern you like best and to then point the remote at each light and press the timer button at the time you want the lights to come on. They will then come on automatically at the same time every night and turn off automatically after six hours.I'm extremely pleased with the addition of these lights to our holiday decorations. They have made it very fast and easy to get festive.

I got these lights to provide some holiday decoration around my house. There were a few aspects about these lights which I found to be surprisingly nice -- They look festive and are fairly bright, which is the most important thing about them, really.- My children found it super entertaining to be able to unfold the lights from their packed position into the star shape. Free children's entertainment was a nice added bonus.- The number of illumination modes is really fun - some of the light patterns are visually quite appealing- The timer is a great feature - 6 hrs on, 18 hrs off, perfect to light up during Christmas light hours and then save battery for the rest of the day- Remote control is super helpful for leaving these just outside a window hanging from the porch and controlling from inside the houseOverall these are a great holiday decoration item which can be used in a lot of ways. Highly recommended!

The lights are very relaxing and with the number of different programs you can set they never are the same two days in a row.

It looks beautiful and can be hung anywhere. It has hooks which makes it easy to put even on tree branches. Can create various shapes with the light strings . One downside is each light requires 4 batteries. My box had 4 lights so a total of 16 batteries which makes it a tad bit pricey. Otherwise, overall looks good.

These lights look great, set up and store easily, have a timer on/off and multiple blink settings. I ordered more. They do run through batteries in cold weather but otherwise are great

We had these hanging on our porch since December. We have used them only a handful of times. We went to use them this evening and wouldn't turn on. The batteries were changed out and still wouldn't work. The unit never was wet as our porch is covered. We are past the return window, however, we would not recommend these lights as we used them less than 5 times and they will not turn on.

The media could not be loaded.  Needed something cheap to replace the lights I had in my room and saw these. Didn't think I'd like them as much as I do but being able to move them without needing a long string of lights is such a convenience.+bright enough+easy to place them just about anywhere+different light modes+don't require much battery (I'm using old semi dead batteries)+doesn't get hot+comes with a remote+can be dimmed-one is a little dim even with fresh batteries-they take 4 batteries each-remote turns on my starlight display machineDespite those minor cons, I'll be buying more for Christmas.

These will eat through batteries. I believe it's 2-3 aa per light. They only last 2 or 3 days. It gets expensive to run these.

I have seen a version of these firework lights at our local (and very popular) gardening/nursery store for their upcoming Christmas display which is know city wide for being stunning. They looked amazing in the store hung yo high from the rafters and the display wasn’t even finished yet so when I saw these I knew I had to order them to try.I was not disappointed!I love decorating for Christmas and adding new decor pieces and lights is always a joy for me.This set comes in a pack of four lights with 4 remote controllers and power supply. Each light requires 4 AA batteries but I stocked up on rechargeables on Prime Days so I was well prepared for that.The fun part is deciding how you want to arrange the wires. You can do the firework light look or you can shape them into any design you want which gives a lot of room for creativity. I like the fireworks design for now but I can’t wait to see what else so can come up with when Christmas comes!There is a built-in control for each light if you choose not to use the remote or if you accidentally misplace it.There are 8 functions with a built in timer and depending on which selection you make it will determine how long your batteries last.I am tempted to see if so can splice these to an adaptor for convenience but for now so am just enjoying them.Once lit up these look just as amazing as the ones in the local garden nursery display that I saw this month so I am super excited to start decorating for Christmas soon and add these to my decor 🎄🤗I will be hanging these higher up so o don’t mind a once very so often recharge but I don’t want to be doing it every other day so I am experimenting with the settings before I put them up.

Super easy to assemble but you need a ton of batteries. 4 batteries x 4 lights. You can also choose the pattern you want the lights to flicker.Multipurpose lights which can be used as decor too during the summer months. Fairly priced too.

I had high hopes for these lights and was not disappointed! They are made from a collection of little strands of fairy lights and are entirely bendable to make any shape you’d like. They expand outwards so that the light itself can become about a foot in diameter and hang from a hook mounted directly on the white cylindrical battery pack (each light needs 4 AA batteries) with the drop cord also being about a foot. They are approved for both indoor and outdoor use and my plan had been to use them in my yard but I didn’t get that far because on a whim I decided to try them above my kitchen cabinets and was instantly sold on their placement there. I left the battery pack out but put the just centre base unto some tumblers I’m not using to give them enough height to sit above the crown modding on the cabinets and they look amazing! This set includes 4 remotes, but you only need one to work all four lights if you’d like. This means that I can sit in my living room and turn on the lights for a pretty ambiance anytime I’d like. They look like little starbursts and have a variety of lighting settings from staying solidly lit, flashing in a variety of patterns or slowly fading on/off. I’m really happy with these and definitely would recommend them.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered these for an event tent, to add some fun lights that don’t need another extension cord.They are very pretty but maybe too delicate of light, once you spread out the prongs more.Each light requires 4 double A’s, so I really hope they last the weekend at least. It’s nice that they have a remote for each one so they can be hung high without reaching to turn on & off.Overall, I like them. I’ll update once I’ve used them at the party, to let you know what the battery life is like.The price seems ok at $42.99, making each light(w/remote) under $11
