Great book to add to your workshop if your doing a Chevy truck swap. You will still need basic mechanical knowledge to use this book

This book is filled with clear color photos on almost every page. Step by step instructions though out. Attention getting cover, thorough text on so many topics pertaining to the subject matter. A detailed, excellent resource. Another great CarTech book!

This book is directed toward those builders who have access to a variety of specialized tools and a grasp of automotive math. The text offers outstanding technical advise and data while the numerous illustrations are an aid in understanding the points being made in the text. As the author makes clear the user of this excellent how-to-manual must be familiar with all aspects of engine performance including electrical (computer) engine management.

Bought this, it was a good read, but it mostly focuses on earlier trucks, hardly talks about GMT400 chassis trucks, which is a huge miss.
