Good milk chocolate coat but variable quality almonds can flatten taste
Hatziyiannakis Chocolates Dragées with whole roasted almonds have a glossy and snappy milk chocolate coat with an attractive appearance.However, for this price, the quality of the whole toasted almonds was inconsistent. Although the dragées were well within their 'Use by' date, some of the whole almonds lacked an appropriately snappy texture, and the taste was quite flat and not toasted.When the toasted almonds were good, these dragées were delicious. However, when the toasted almonds lacked flavour, the sweetness of the milk chocolate dominated in a way that isn't to my taste.I would only purchase Hatziyiannakis Chocolates Dragées again if the quality were more consistent. I could not be confident about gifting them to other people. At full price, I can not recommend this product to others.
