Makes it easier, which in turn encourages one to use the rotary function, which one of the key points for owning a rotary vise in the first place. Definitely speeds up the fly tying process - palmering hackle, wrapping tinsel, dubbing, chenille, wire, etc...... The wraps are more evenly spaced and tension is more controlled, using the rotary function, especially with the D-Arm - as one gets a 360 degree look of the fly with each crank during the tying process. End up with neater looking flies (probably does not matter to the fish, it is personal preference thing). A few dollars that was well spent in my books. Quality is as good as the vise itself (which is terrific), and no reason not to expect that this item will last as long as the vise. Works for me.

Like other reviews have said, it works great, but the mark up is just barely swallowable on off the shelf parts. In 2021 the only feasible way I could find to put my own handle together was to order packs of multiple parts only to end up with way too many parts that didn't translate into complete handles and too little savings, so markup be damned and stars be swallowed with it!

It does make the rotary function much easier and more consistent. While this works and functions well, I am disappointed in what it is made from. I thought with how well the peak is made, the accessory parts they sell would follow the same machining/workmanship and be more of a single piece arm to follow the look of the rest of the vice.You can buy these parts at Big Box or Hardware store for around 68 cents per part... thats $2.04! All this is a Socket Screw, a Bolt Spacer, and a 1/4" ID (Inner diameter) Set Screw Collar. Plus you can make the handle whatever length you want by buying a different length screw and spacer.It does what it says and helps you control the rotary function for smoother operation. All in all I do like it and it works well, I am just disappointed in the construction and the 500% mark up.

I was skeptical but glad I bought it. Attaches very easily with a hex wrench which is included. Is attached by tightening the screw inside the collar 15 seconds to attach. Sturdy and a great addition. Worth the buy.

Best vise on the market, you can't go wrong with peak rotary.

I was lazy and ordered this off Amazon, but I could of got these parts from a hardware store. It is what they advertise so I really can't complain. It works and you could probably add a furniture knob instead of the sleeve.

I was very surprised at how much easier this makes using the rotary function on my vise. I agree with another reviewer that it probably should have been included with the vise itself but that being said it is a nice feature to have.
