I bought this to replace the big name R camera over my garage because I want the ability to be able to record events without paying someone else. This camera not only fits that requirement but its significantly better than my previous camera. The video quality is amazing, it connects every single time I get an event or want to look at live video. In the couple of weeks I've had it, I've never gotten a single blank screen after getting a notification of an event, unlike the numerous ones I used to get with the R brand. On top of all this, the camera tracks movement. I took my dog for a walk & it tracked me halfway down the street & you could still make out the brand of sneakers I was wearing.Setup was very easy, just follow the instructions carefully.With all the features & the functionality this solar security camera is an AMAZING value for the money!

The AOSU cameras I purchased have proven to be very impressive. They perform exactly as advertised, or better. I found them very easy to set-up and Install. Three of my neighbors have purchased them based on my demo to them of mine. They have good Quality video, night vision and tracking. In addition they are very reasonably priced...Though I am impressed with the cameras AOSU’s customer support is even better. The Teach that assisted me most recently was named Noli. When I was younger (in my 40’s and 50’s) I was much better at understanding and setting up cell phones, tablets and electronics in general. Now in my mid 70s’ I am very much challenged. The whole team seems very knowledgeable of the AOSU products and customer focused.I will search for the AOSU brand for any tech products I need in the future.

Excellent clarity of image. Had an Aosu video doorbell and were so pleased with the way it worked that we got this camera when we moved to an area we felt might need a bit more security. We love that we do not have to pay for video storage and are able to use a micro sd. The solar panel keeps it running. (Admittedly we live in Las Vegas where there is no shortage of sunlight). The app is easy to use and allows adjustment for area to monitor. In addition to the quality of the video, the price was the best around for a camera of this quality.

Good quality, expect little more of following people sometimes do it sometimes not. Easy to set up. Great picture quality.

After reading reviews on many different security systems, I chose this one for a property I use during the winter months. This property is 1400 miles from my summer residence. So far it’s work ed flawlessly and I get notifications when people access property for maintenance. All intrusion are recorded on micro sd card and easily retrieved. Therefore, I purchase additional cameras for summer residence. Good quality and ease of operation. Highly recommended.

I love the quality of this camera. Not cheesy or weak. Solid and very easy to set up. If you have a great WiFi connect this is perform excellently. Get a SD card to record or use the cloud that uses Ai. Very cool product!

Bought a single camera to see about creating a network of them but wanted to ascertain function and quality first. Installed on my front covered porch with a dedicated electrical connection instead of using the solar charging, using a new 32gig memory card instead of cloud storage, and it's on the free basic plan requiring no subscription.Overall the camera seems pretty good, it captures movement of people approaching my front door and placement of them allows me to see the vehicle they drove up in. It follows the person directly as they near the front steps and when departing then stays on wide view as they head down the driveway. The movement detect function is fairly high too as it will sense my neighbor mowing his lawn across all the way from across my lawn and driveway.BUT....but...it doesn't always capture everything during the day and nothing at night unless you're right next to the camera. For example today it recorded two different Amazon deliveries but failed at seeing my neighbor get the packages for me while I'm out of town. This is apparently normal operation for the camera because it happens constantly. I can get it to see me *sometimes* if I stand right by the cam and/or wave my arms.I believe the problem is low-light sensitivity as my neighbor arrived at dusk, and I've tested it myself by exiting my front door far which is about 15 feet from the camera after sundown and gotten zero reaction from it. But what good is a night vision capable security camera when it doesn't see things after dark? It's fine to see a delivery person in bright sunlight, it's the potentiality of criminals checking out my place after dark which is more important. A network of cams around my property which are essentially useless at night simply isn't tenable. Perhaps the IR detection simply isn't up to the task and I can find nothing in the settings or menus to increase sensitivity.Also the recording of events can be odd, it will show me events (such as the delivery people) but if I try to view the video later it's not there anymore, then trying again an hour later it reappears. It has also sometimes shown vids I've deleted from the card, and then they're not on the card a day later.So, while I generally like the camera and its functions if I can't trust it to work at night I won't keep it. It's too bad because the image quality is very good and it's easy to use manually to look around.
