Teaching my daughter Spanish and this book has been a great help

Now THIS guy knows how to do a side-by-side translation. I got four of this authors books and am very much enjoying them all. The text lines up nicely, and every time the spanish and english drift too far from one another on the page there is a gap to sync them back up. This is absolutely necessary for a side-by-side language book.As for learning, I am a B2 level and can't go two sentences without learning something new lol it is awesome. Very very well made books.Just know that the author learned "spain spanish", not latin american, but it won't be a problem. There are not TOO many spain-only references. A few 'vosotros' here and there but yeah, I actually prefer learning all the forms of spanish side by side, so no worries for me. Just a heads up to people so you aren't caught off guard.Awesome books, highly recommend.

5⭐️What a great edition of the well-loved classics and favorites of the Brothers Grimm! I’m slowly, but surely, trying to learn Spanish, and so this book was the perfect aid in my learning journey. The formatting of these tales was amazing, with the English and Spanish translations in columns, side by side. With this kind of formatting, it helps to distinguish what each word translates to. I’ve read plenty of fairytales by the Brothers Grimm already, and I feel that helped even more with my comprehension and understanding of the Spanish translation. While I’m using this book to learn Spanish, it can definitely be used in the opposite way for anyone Spanish-speaking who wants to learn English. That’s what I love so much about this book—the fact that it aids people in learning a new language, whether that be English or Spanish, in a really fun way! Learning a new language can be intimidating, but with the use of classic fairytales like the ones in the book, it made the experience more enjoyable!

Enjoyed the book. Ordered the next in the series.

The book is nice, I expected more popular tales tho.. Also the print is not the cleanest, but for the price it’s ok.

Grimm's Fairy Tales have captivated readers for generations, and diving back into these timeless tales was a joy. The blend of old English language and the charm of words we rarely encounter anymore made each story a delightful read.

I got this book for my daughter, so she can practice reading in Spanish from a story she knows and it was perfect. The translation at the side is very cleverly done and matches pretty well the English version. The book is well-written and of course the story is entertaining and fun.
