Fluid sound, incredibly comfortable, excellent value.
As seen in my previous review (of the Flares Audio Jet 2), these too are an excellent set. But, this pair seem to dig way deeper into the music. More defined, a little more bass with the sub base almost there. These are a little more hard to drive with my iPhone XR, but I believe using an amp will contribute to more excellent sound. Again these are Not for bass heads but have enough to be convincing and what’s there is real, plus they eq nicely if you need more.... Nearly a flat frequency response, but the best thing is that with the Final Audio “sound”, they are so easy to listen to. These are the most comfortable iem’ I have tried and that I have owned (so far). The drive unit is of great quality and sturdy. The cables are another story. The light weight of the entire assembly kinda scares me, but being a Japanese product, I’m not too concerned, but I am using the utmost care in handling them. The cable is Not microphonic and even though super slim is a perfect match sound wise and quality. Cable size (thickness) can be misleading. The quality of the wires themselves is the question and these are of a high quality. I say thus as I currently have a 47 Laboratory 4733 and connect my speakers with the 47 Laboratory.40mm Barr wire cables. They are excellent in their sound representation. These too will benefit from some “run-in” as all my sets have been through at least 35-50 hours. The sound does improve (at least to me) some may disagree and that is ok. The point is they sound wonderful and so comfortable I can (and have) listened to them all day. Of you want even better sound, get the e3000 Without the microphone, as the less signal is interfered with , the better. The mic works well and no complaints there. The cable is as quiet as you will find I just about any price range. I have two problems: 1: is that I just bought a pair of Periodic Audio be’ and have about 150 hours on them (with about 150 more to go)and they keep getting better and better. And 2: I am tempted to get the E4000’s as I love this sound and the comfort alone is a incredible Plus, but the $ is what’s putting this on hold 😞 . My go to iem’ are these, due to the comfort and pleasing/enjoyable sound signature. But I see real soon they’ll be replaced by the be’. The value of the Final Audio e3000c is exceptional, and these are highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed... remember, be easy with these, I’ve had No issues, I’m just a little bit nervous, probably for nothing...

Warm, bassy tuning done well on a budget
Unboxing - Packaging is a little sparse, but quality of the included accessories is good. There are five different sizes of ear tips (which are included on much higher IEMs and what I use for all of mine. These were a gift for my girlfriend.), comfortable ear hooks for the cable to be worn over the ear, a small carrying pouch, and a warranty card/product information pamphlet. I would've liked to see a semi-hard case but, all in all not bad for the price.Build - Housing is stainless steel, and smaller than expected. They're really quite light, but seem sturdy due to the stainless steel frame. The only weak point is the cable. It feels very flimsy, and is part of why I wish there was a better case included. You can pick up a set of three for under 10 bucks though, which is what I did for my accessories, and had one left over for these.Fit - Final's E-Series tips are the best silicone tips I've used, and, combined with their light weight, it's easy to forget you're wearing these. It's almost disconcerting. Almost...Sound quality - Warm, bassy tuning, executed well for the price. I wouldn't recommend them for acoustic stuff but for the right genre they work well. I used an EQ to bring up the treble a touch and left the bass the same and my girlfriend loves it. My description will obviously be without EQ though.Bass - A little loose, but with good texture for the price. Slight bleed into the mids but not nearly as much as what I was expecting with this type of tuning.Mids - Good for the price point and tuning, but nothing outstanding. In this price range, I'd recommend the Tin T2 by a landslide for more mid-centric genres but these do well. My only gripe is female vocals, which just sound a little thin behind the warm bass.Treble - Laid back and smooth. Not a ton of detail but ample enough they aren't totally lost under the bass.Imaging and separation - Pretty decebt soundstage for what they are. Not a ton of depth, but they do well left to right. They can get congested due to the loose bass response, but in genres like EDM and hip hop, they do pretty well.Overall - These are good headphones for those looking for a respectable, bass-leaning tuning at the price point. For a more neutral experience in general, I'd look at the Tin T2 but, for the bass lover in your life, these are a great little addition for the price.

Some of the best earbuds ive had
I absolutely fell in love with these earbuds! The sound quality was absolutely amazing and they are very light and small, they fit absolutely perfect in my small ears as well. I found them through a site that said they could be alternatives to sleep buds, which worked just fine, they're small enough that they dont dig into my ears.I used them just about every day to listen to music and when gaming, i have a large collection of cds and lots of flac quality albums on my phone. The open back probably helps to add to the quality of the audio but it of course hinders bass, which is just fine.Unfortunately they just stopped working today. I hadn't touched them in a week and the left earbud went totally silent. It's really unfortunate because these are not cheap! They're such good quality, especially the earbuds themselves being metal. They didn't even last a whole year. I'll be looking elsewhere to see if there are any high quality buds that hopefully won't just stop working one day...

Stopped working after 1 year - Can't contact company
These sounded great when they worked, but after about a year of light use, they're no longer working properly - for the most part, either one channel is out, or there is no sound at all. It seems like the wires near the jack are not secure. The links on Final's website (snext-final.com) to any customer care - even user registration - are dead links, so I don't know how to contact the company. If you do get these headphones, I recommend getting the protection plan.
