For the price, this is one of the best machines you can buy
I had been eyeballing this piece of equipment for a long time. This has been a fantastic addition to my home garage gym. I no longer am concerned about dropping weights and hurting my floor. I use the bench for other exercises as well. The arms are a little squeaky when you’re using them, but I’ve never had any concern that the machine is going to fail. I’m fairly tall at 6 foot six and I have no issue using this equipment. I have used both the flat and incline settings and they have worked great. I love how the bench folds up and allows for my space to be used effectively. I don’t see the use for the shoulder press Option because I’m so tall. The construction seems robust. And it was easy to put together. For the price you cannot beat this.

Perfect Converging Chest Press Machine for Your Home gym
I already have a good Smith Machine in my home gym, but I find that incline bench presses on the Smith hurt my shoulders (I do perform decline bench presses on the Smith without issues). I purchased this chest press machine from GMWD hoping to continue to build my upper/mid pectorals without injuring my shoulders in the process.Delivery: The machine arrived in perfect shape and I had no issues. It came right to my garage door. The shipping box was robust (heavy cardboard) and well sealed (strapping and heavy-duty tape)- no notable tears or holes.Unpacking: The machine inside of the box was thoughtfully packaged and took mere minutes to unpack and carry to my gym location. No parts were damaged in transit.Assembly: This machine was exceedingly easy to assemble with just a few tools and took me less than one hour in total to assemble (probably closer to 45 minutes). There were no problems - instructions were straightforward.Floorspace: The compact design of the GMWD Chest Press Machine takes up minimal valuable real estate in my home gym. I absolutely love that the full-length padded bench folds up off of the floor when not in use! This feature makes such a huge difference in reducing the machine's footprint - awesome!Quality and Construction: The chest press machine is attractively finished, looks great, and is rigid and sturdy. I am about 6 feet tall and 230lbs; I feel 100% secure while on this machine. There is no wobbling or creaking - solidly built.Using the GMWD Chest Press Machine: The machine is easy to load with weights. Getting under the lift handles is a breeze as they are supported by adjustable arms. The upward converging arc of the lifting arms is smooth and feels natural; I have not experienced any shoulder pain while performing chest presses! I love that I can exhaustively work my pecs without a spotter or any concern that I may aggravate my rotator cuffs. I feel significantly more taxing of my pectorals when performing converging chest presses using this machine versus bar bench presses. I am expecting great results in the coming months!Further, I like the plate storage spindles at the rear of the machine so I can park my weights locally after I finish my chest workout. I look forward to using this machine on chest day!Customer Service: I had a small issue with one of the parts being drilled incorrectly. I messaged GMWD here on Amazon and they promptly got back to me. They went out of their way to replace the part swiftly. They were kind and professional. I received the replacement part, and my chest press machine is now perfect!Value: This machine is a bargain at the current price. It amazes me that I can get a piece of equipment on this level at this price in 2024!!I highly recommend GMWD and this chest press machine.

Easy to put together and a very sturdy bench
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've had this for about a week now and I'm pretty impressed. It came in a pretty well packed box. All the parts were very well labelled and I put it together myself in an hour or less. It's pretty sturdy and I love the movement of the bars. It's the perfect bench for someone that wants to lift alone and doesn't require a spotter.

Measurements
I've had it set up for about a week now and it works great. I had it put together with in an hour by myself. Ty. One thing they don't mention or show you a picture of is the width of the actual machine. It's 52 inches.I have a pic to show you. And I know that matters if it's going up against a wall or in a corner somewhere because they give you the distance of the base itself but not how much more it sticks out when you put weights on it.Anyway, if you're thinking about buying it, it's a good buy. Does everything it says it does and I definitely feel like I'm working out in a gym with this piece of equipment. Select any weight you want with the weights you'll have to buy and have a great little workout.I would buy it again. Feels sturdy, it's what I would expect when putting something like this that can hold a lot of weight. Very smooth on the ball bearings that make the arms go up and down adjustable arms so it's less stressful on your shoulders rather than more of your chest. So the starting point doesn't have to be all the way down. Like you're benching in a gym. You could put it up quite some and just give it a lift and it's not much stress on certain parts.

Worth it, cheapest solid converging press you can get
I originally got one of the slightly cheaper knockoffs sponsored on Amazon thinking that they would be the same- they were not. This one ACTUALLY converges and I am thrilled at the stretch and squeeze you get with the range of motion on this thing. It's actually amazing, my favorite chest movement in our home gym space.Cons: I'm unsure of how well the bench pad itself will hold up over time since it relies on 3 bolts in a straight line to secure it. And it already wobbles a little bit-Pros: Overall the quality matches the price really well, there are some lighter weight or plastic pieces but since I was able to compare straight across to the knockoff I can say for sure every part was at least a little bit higher quality than the non brand name. For $200 it was totally worth it for the angle and stretch it provides, using it every chest day from now on!

Effective budget chest workout.
I nice bench, the converging arms do really make it so much better than my more expensive lever gym that I had previously. If you want a deep chest stretch and a safe no spotter solution, with a great strength curve, without the large rack.. this is a winner on a budget.

Solid
This is a good machine for working out solo, I don’t have to worry about getting trapped underneath a bar.The instructions were clear and it took me about an hour to assemble, the welds look decent.I really appreciate the design and it’s really solid for what it is, I’m 6’4 250 and it fits me perfectly.I was able to work out comfortably with this machine, highly recommended
