Great for multiple purposes
I bought these to use for painting. They allow me to hang the object in the booth and walk around it to spray nice even coats. The also work great for hanging wrapped extensions cords.

Nice light duty hooks for the right application
Nice little hooks, but they didn't work as well as I had hoped on the end of my garage shelves. The little plastic safety buckle is a nice feature, but they're basically designed to go over a bar or something. I was trying to fit them through holes on the end of my garage shelves and they didn't quite fit and even if they did, the safety buckle wouldn't have been able to close in my situation.

Bought these to hang a respirator off the side of my crafting cart. Works perfectly.

Good idea
I always knock the s-clips off when hanging lanterns on my pool enclosure and have to get off the ladder to chase them down. These solve the problem by locking into place. One simple change makes all the difference.

Sturdy hooks!
I got these to hang planters from my curtain rods without having to worry about a slipped planter. These are super easy to open and close and work like a dream. I secured the side with the latch to the curtain rod and put the planter on the other side. I've had no worries about my plants since. There's been no accidental opening of the latch and no warping of the hook from weight.Frankly, I just wish I had gotten more!
