Solid, great design and reliable

This watch has great functions. I bought it for a Dad with dementia who really likes to know the date as well as the time. Criticisms are that the display is quite dim and the buttons a bit close together for old eyes and fingers. A younger person wouldn't have such a problem. Also it is bigger and chunkier looking than the picture suggested to us, but for some people that wouldn't be a problem either. Overall it is still a great buy because of what it does. The watch is easy to set up and use.However it was a bit bigger than I was expecting.Not a problem however as it means that I don't need my glasses to read it:-)

The promo images are a bit misleading, the digits are not lit all the time. In order to see the time you must be in a lit area, or press the top button which will light the digits for 3 seconds. It has many functions, such as a chronometer and count down but the four buttons on the side might be a little too complicated for some people to use. The brace is quite wide and soft, the buckle is well made and not too sharp and feels comfortable to wear. I like it for it's chunky and simplistic style, I would prefer though that the digits would stay lit all the time, or to have an toggling on/off option.

I bought this for my son after he found one in the street and loved the look and feel of it. He had another watch before which for some reason, the silicone plastic watch strap was causing his skin to blister. This one so far has caused no issues with soreness or blistering. It has a nice face and functions. It has survived showers and washes although he hasn't tried swimming with it on yet. A great buy and nice and cheap so not the end of the world should it get lost or broken. A good started watch or a general watch for everyday use.

Product won’t let me change the date correctly , so at moment watch read 07/16 sat the numerals were correct the day not.The back light works but is so faint it’s hrs to distinguish wether it’s actually worked !Other wise the product looks good , luckily we only need it for an outward bound event otherwise I would return ( the date thing would be come annoying at best )

I have been looking for a simple watch that just gives me the time and date only . I also wanted a display that is easy to see and this watch is just the ticket. I noticed that other purchasers had commented on the display is rather dull. May I suggest that they make sure that they remove the protective plastic film on the face. I found that makes the display a lot brighter.

I bought this because I wanted a digital watch I can see without putting my glasses on. My eyesight is not what it used to be, and this looked to be a large watch with a bright display. However, it turns out that the display is so dim that I can't see it anyway. It's a pity because everything else about the watch is good, and it was certainly a good price.
