This is a great little set and an alternative to electronic games, great for taking to the pub with friends or entertaining the kids while out and about.The quality appears to be good, the magnets are strong and the smooth to touch, there are a couple of different shapes to the magnets but I did notice that most of the kit that I received they were round, but that does not seem to affect the performance in terms of the design for the game.Storage bag is nice, although this came with 2 bags, an inner bag for the magnets and then another one, although the string fits in the magnet bag, the additional larger bag does make it easier to find in the drawer.A word of caution with this, there is no information to say what the strength of the magnets are, the photos indicate 'upgraded magnetic force' so I would be cautious where this is stored, such things as electronics and memory cards can be damaged by magnets and this bag contains 20 in close proximity.Overall a great product and one that we will be using again and again I am sure.

Although I have not seen a game like this before, my wife has played a game very similar to this, and we both like it! It's a fun little game. However...I'm not sure how long it will take before people get bored with it, as unlike actual chess, (which has many thousands of possible combinations of moves), this game is very limited to what can be done to win. It seems to me, it's more like tossing coins to get a winner than using good knowledge of moves or skill.It's very nicely presented and a cool little bag is provided to store the magnets and length of string in. The magnets look really cool (like sweets!) and are stronger than I was expecting! They look so nice they seem good enough to eat!! Therefore, I think small children may try eating them or sucking them if they pick them up. So this is a potential hazard that needs thinking about, if you have any small children around whilst playing with this product.I personally think this would make a nice little gift for somebody, but don't expect them to still be playing it years in the future (like chess) as I don't believe that will happen.It's currently unavailable so I'm not sure of the current value (and I can't recall what the price was when I ordered it), but anything under £10 will be a fair price to pay for this I think. Anything more and I don't think that represents good value.

This magnetic chess game is not only fun but also educational. It keeps my kids engaged and away from electronic devices. I love that it promotes logical thinking and patience. Highly recommend for parents!
