This Kenepet cupcake shaped fountain is great! One of my cats has kidney disease and needs to drink a lot of water, but he doesn’t like drinking still water. To get him to drink I would have to turn on a faucet - not too practical and he wasn’t getting enough water.This fountain is literally a life saver. He drinks from it throughout the day. He immediately became much more energetic upon first use, and my other cat loves it also and is drinking more too.Over the years I’ve tried several different fountains with the other four cats I’ve had. None of those worked out. At the time they were made of plastic and I couldn’t use them because they gave my cats acne under their chin. Most plastic fountains are not fully dishwasher safe and difficult to clean. I’m not talking about motor assemblies, none of which can go in the dishwasher. I’m referring to the plastic bowl and housing - both or one of them aren’t dishwasher safe. To avoid the acne you need either a stainless steel or ceramic bowl.When different manufacturers finally came out with a stainless steel fountain, I was initially excited. My excitement quickly turned to disappointment, however, as it began to rust within weeks of buying it. So I gave up on fountains for years. Until now.When I started looking at them again I was thrilled to find out some fountains like the Kenepet brand are now made of ceramic - meaning dishwasher safe and no more acne for my cats. After a lot of careful review I went with the Kenepet fountain. It has excellent customer reviews, and all of it except the motor assembly is dishwasher safe. The design and engineering of the fountain is simple and genius. It’s easy to clean and my cats love it.I purchased a year’s worth of replacement of filters - both the carbon and the spongy cotton filters (both of which are very affordable), along with some extra motors. In fact, I like this fountain so much I bought a second one to have as a spare. If the manufacturer ever discontinues it or if I accidentally break one, I have another.This fountain is a real game changer in my house, and I highly recommend it.

After trying 2 other pet water fountains I finally found the perfect one! This one looks and works GREAT! And the very best part is my cat CANNOT take this one apart!!! The cat really seemed a little put out at first that she couldn’t disassemble it but I was ecstatic! No kore searching for filters or replacing tubes because she took them. And no more mess from her knocking it over.This fountain is beautiful ( I have the purple) heavy duty ceramic that cleans up easily. It took about 5 minutes to set up. Should of just ordered this one in the first place.

Originally owned a plastic fountain that the cats seemed to love and use quite often. Immediately after i found out how bad they were i bought stainless steel, but i felt like they didnt seem to like it, I rarely saw them drink from it. Finally decided to try ceramic and I honestly really like this thing. It's cute, easy to top off, fairly easy to clean, and I definitely see both cats drinking from it. My big concern was the open concept, but somehow I do not see really any debris, and that has really surprised me. It's easy enough to dump out and refill when there is something in it. Really impressed with this fountain, it met every single one of my needs, would highly recommend 👌.

I have 4 cats and I usually also have a foster cat at home too. This fountain is perfect because of the size, I can go 3-4 days without having to refill the water. It's easy to setup and super easy to clean. I had a very similar fountain that was stainless steel but it started to rust after only a couple of weeks. I won't have that problem with this fountain as it's all ceramic where the other was stainless. The ceramic is well made and glazed of all services that will come into contact with water. The other pieces are all plastic but ita minimal plastic pieces. The fountain's weight is substantial so not even my 20lb cat can knock it over, aided by the fact it's wide and low. The pump works great and is super easy to clean, you even get a spare pump which makes the longevity of this fountain even better! This fountain is perfect for your furry friend.

Let's be honest, pet fountains can be noisy, messy, hard to clean. I've been buying the ones with the "daisy" spigot on them for the past few years, but my big boy recently got his collar caught on the daisy, and pulled the fountain apart to get free! Cleaned up that mess and started looking for a new design. I debated about this one for a while, but it matches my decor and the water spout doesn't look like a collar grabber. It is beautiful in person! It was easy to set up, and I love how easy it is to fill the open bowl! If the power goes out, the cats will still be able to have water. It is also absolutely silent. My big boy had no issues adjusting to it. My other kitty has not used any of the fountains. She prefers her water bowl. Well I was getting concerned that in our hot weather she wasn't drinking enough water, as her bowl was still full. Guess who else likes the new fountain!! (Bella the picky one pictured here having a nice long drink!) I appreciate that it comes with an extra pump and several charcoal filters. My only reason for 4 stars is because the manual says to clean & replace filters every 1-2 weeks. That will quickly get pricey if these filters indeed need to be replaced that often! But for now, I am pleased with this fountain for my felines! (Did I mention how pretty and silent it is??)
