Better than Snow Deer heated socks
I compared the Relirelia heated socks with the Snow Deer heated socks. Both are highly rated. Both keep your feet pretty warm. My kids thought the socks were warm enough. Sometimes I wanted the socks to be hotter but neither Relirelia nor Snow Deer could get that hot. Both are good socks, but the Relirelia socks are much better. The Relirelia socks are a little thinner than Snow Deer (thick socks can make your feet hurt if your ski boots or shoes are already snug).Relirelia’s smartphone app is a huge advantage over Snow Deer’s manual approach. To change Snow Deer’s heat setting, I had to stop skiing, lift my pants leg way up to access the battery control, adjust the battery’s heat setting, and put my ski pants back down. Relirelia’s app lets you adjust the heat to one or both socks simply by using your smartphone. It’s easy. The only issue is when you power on the socks, the app will look for all nearby socks to pair with. So if other people are wearing Relirelia socks very nearby, the app will list the codes of nearby battery packs. But the codes don’t let you know which one is yours. My kids also have Relirelia socks so we had to go away from each other in order to pair the socks. If you pair the app to the wrong socks, you will be controlling their socks, not yours. Fortunately, once the battery packs are paired to the app, then the app remembers the battery packs until you turn off the batteries or charge them for the next day. It’s a small inconvenience to have good heated socks that are easy to control. The socks were comfortable. I couldn’t feel the wires. They come with a mesh bag to wash the socks, a battery for each sock, and a USB charging cable (you have to provide your own USB charging cube). I highly recommend the Relirelia socks.

My wife loved these socks on our ski trip!
I bought these heated socks for my wife to use on a ski trip to Breckenridge, CO, and they were absolutely perfect! She wore them all day while skiing, and the batteries lasted just long enough for a full day on the slopes. The heating design is impressive—covering the entire toe area while being so well-integrated that you hardly notice the wires. The socks stayed in place the whole time, even with the battery pack, which is lightweight and doesn’t slip off. These socks were a total game changer for her ski trip, and we definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to stay warm in cold weather! Great for skiing, hunting, or just any winter outdoor activity.

They're great for hunting cold mornings
So....I finally got tired of sitting in my tree stand freezing my toes off and decided to get 2 pairs of these for me and my husband. There were dozens of socks to choose from and I settled on these for the price, heating element design and comfort that was described by others. I didn't want to rush to review right after I tried them on upon receiving them. If they didn't work on a cold morning in the tree stand on my hunts then I felt like it would be a loss. BUT....they were wonderful! The socks are thick and super soft. I like that they were long (up to my knees and I am 5'9). They were not too tight at all and I wore them for several hours comfortably. They worked out great because the battery pocket sat just above my tall snake boots so I wasnt having to shove it between my leg at boots. After about 3-4 hours of wear I still had about 75% battery last so IMO the battery life is good. The heating elements wraps the whole toe (NOT JUST the bottom). Even at the highest temp it does not get too hot.... at least for me (I know we all have different preferences). I havent had issues with the socks thus far but it has warmed up here a little sob not much need to wear them right now. My husband really enjoyed them too and was pleasantly surprised by there comfort such that he likes just wearing them around the house.I will update if there are any changes. As with any product I expect wear and tear will do anything in over time, but we'll see how long these bad boys will last. So far the investment seems worth it.

Torture!
I have heated gloves which have worked great so I did my research and settled on these heated socks. I read the directions thoroughly and followed them precisely. When I got out on the slopes to ski my feet were burning up, even though I had the temperature on the recommended "mild" setting. Worse, the phone app stopped communicating with the socks' batteries. I couldn't turn the temperature down! Finally I pulled down my ski pants and unplugged the cord connecting the batteries to the heated socks. Relief at last!Basted upon my experience I do not recommend this product.

Best Remote Control Heated Socks
I looked at many varieties of heated socks both on Amazon and at other sporting goods sites. I read reviews on Amazon and on other review sites and ultimately settled on these socks for the wireless remote control and decent heat time. After trying the socks a couple of times I figured out that they are generally slow to heat up but once they’re warmed up (15min++) they stay warm for pretty much the durations listed by the manufacturer. There is a quick heat control on the app that can be used to get the initial warmth. The heating element is at the front of the foot, which is where I need it. The element does not cover the toes but is close and keeps the whole front of the foot warm along with toes. The remote control app is outstanding and makes it very easy to adjust temperature. The app setup was simple as it easily recognized the battery packs to synchronize. I thought these socks worked well but for a full day in snow I need more time than the battery offers so I bought a second pair just to have a second set of batteries to swap in when needed. I now also have a spare set of socks and spent less for two pairs than a single pair of some other socks.
