Great design and looks wonderful!
This was the perfect design for our grandson’s small bedroom so he could have a desk area underneath. Having the steps rather than a ladder is great for the extra cubbies in the back—and also so his cat can get up to the bed to sleep with him :) It took some time to put together, but it is important to lay out everything in alphabetical order in a nearby space so you can find things. (There was one mistake in instructions. It has the doors to the step cubbies put on backwards—Step 12 I think—but it becomes evident, and is easy to fix.) Otherwise, it was no trouble to put together. We purchased a little side tray to attach to the rail to complete his perfect big boy bed. Very happy with this loft bed.

sturdy base but worried about the storage space durability
first of all it took me so long to do this with two people and a drill, around half a day (not including the drawer shelves, did that in day2)some of the instructions were hard to follow because some of the parts, its hard to tell which side you are using there def needs to be an indication of which side is which on instruction and on the build partstruggled with that especially on the staircase doors, couldn’t tell which part/direction of the hinge to screw and had to unscrew and try again after getting to the next step and seeing we were wrongfor the sturdiness, so far theres no wobbling whenever i go up that stairs and go to bed (also the bed slats arent perfectly equal and its still pretty fine, its my first time building a bed)also some areas aren't pre-holed, so i assumed i just had to screw it on straight but some of the thinner parts like the top of the bookcase got cracked as you can see 😕 i should’ve drilled a hole but it was one of the last things we did and we were so tired, it was already hard to keep it aligned without a screw attachedAlso as you can see, some parts where its just wood to attach some parts together are lifting a bitwould’ve rated 3.5 but cant do middle stars rating, i'm still satisfied with it so far as a bed, its mostly the little extra things and minor scuffs that brought it downdrawers seem to be fine so far (i’ll update if it falls apart like other people’s) but i will agree a couple holes were not aligned properly, had to maneuver it to get it fit

Frustrating Assembly but Great Storage
The bed looks really nice and seems stable. The height is great, allowing our 13 year old to sit on the bed and not hit the ceiling. When it was delivered it came in 3 separate boxes. I was hoping the assembly instructions were separated by box, but they weren’t. We needed parts from all 3 boxes right off the bat. Several of the pieces weren’t labeled or had double labels, and the instructions weren’t overly clear on which direction a piece should be facing. We got duplicates of some parts and none of others, and we ran out of one of the screw types. The hardware was well labeled, though. Some of the holes didn’t align or weren’t pre-drilled. And once assembled (took approximately 13 hours), the thing creaks horribly. Despite that, the stability of the product seems sound. All that said, our daughter loves it. The extra storage and desk are exactly what she needs.

Sturdy, great option for small rooms
This bed is awesome, daughter requested a desk in her room for her Christmas present and the bed allowed that plus tons of storage. Ignore the mess as this pic was taken before her room was put back together but this bed is great! It’s very sturdy, even the drawers and shelves are solid wood. I was worried it would wobble but it doesn’t even move a little.Assembly is a pain and took about 6 -7 hours. The pieces were delivered with zero damage but note you will have to unpack all boxes to even start step 1 so make sure you can lay everything out. There was 2 steps that were unclear on the orientation of a part and only later do you realize that part is upside down but it was a very quick correction. Assemble the bed frame on its side and then stand it up, it’s light weight enough that picking it up after the box frame is formed is simpler. Also, most of the screws can use a 5/32” hex screw, if you have one a drill attachment will save a ton of time. There’s a few steps where you have to use an Allen wrench due to the orientation.

Build With Help
The photos and reviews definitely helped me pick this bed over others but like a lot of them said, it’s time consuming and works way better and faster with help.Instructions weren’t too bad if you lay all the pieces out right (came in three different boxes and you’ll have to unbox all of them to sort out correctly). I alphabetized them all which helped a lot but only once was one mislabeled. Otherwise not terrible to comprehend. There was a few areas where the screws seemed loose so I added my own screws. CAUTION! DRILL A HOLE FIRST! I was impatient and drilled some straight into areas I wanted reinforced and cracked the grain 🥲. I did a lot by myself so you can imagine how tired I was to not give two hoots.Oh! Downsides: the drawers! Holy cow. I had to finish off the drawers and bookshelf on day two of my solo build and I had to redo the pre assembled tracks the drawers go on because they were sooooo uneven! And the drawers themselves weren’t pre made that great so I had to redo those holes because the pre made holes did not match up. So manufacturers might want to look into that area of fabrication cuz ding dang were those drawers messed up!And if you don’t have a pneumatic or electric drill it would be a pain in the booty to redo by hand. And also having to use Allen wrench screws did hurt my hand in the end cuz sheesh the Allen wrench is the worst haha. Highly suggest using those nifty wrenches with an Allen head attachment so you don’t kill your hands like I did lol. But, as nit picky as I’m being in the review and as tired as I am from building it I’m pretty happy with it! I obviously can’t return it and I wouldn’t want to. I’ve been customizing it all week and other than wanting to reinforce the planks from underneath to support more weight, it’s pretty snazzy.
