Great conditioner for Curly Girls
I got this non-scented version because I couldn't find the the lavender citrus scent when originally looking for a Curly Girl approved conditioner. For people that have allergies/are sensitive to strong odors, I think this product would be perfect as there is no smell to it. I prefer the lavender citrus scent, but for special circumstances it's a terrific product. Lightweight, doesn't weigh hair down or make hair feel/look greasy like some coconut infused products. I put it on asap in the shower and leave it on for remainder of shower, rinsing off at the very end. It does a great job moisturizing my hair, and has led to some great 'clumps' of curls for my type 2A/2B curls. Would definitely buy again!

So far, so good!
I'm new to this line - was highly recommended by a friend who also has fine yet wavy hair. So far I really like the shampoo (be prepared though, it doesn't lather much so that too a little getting used to) and the conditioner - both leave my hair moisturized yet not weighted down like so many "for curly hair" products do.

Light weight and it works great!
I am just a customer writing my honest review and I only review items that I really like. My hair was having build ups badly because of heavy products. This one is light, I use as a leave in conditioner as well. I am glad I found this by accident. I just bought me more!

Great for fine, medium density, low porosity hair
Wish I would’ve found this sooner in my natural wavy hair journey. While the bottle is small, and does seem pricy. It really does well of not weighing down my wavy hair. There’s also a good amount of slip to it for detangling in the shower. If you’re looking for a heavy conditioner the consistency of body butter…this is not for you. Kind of runny in texture. But my hair looks so much better and doesn’t get weighed down!

The 8oz bottle is too stiff - hard to get the great conditioner out
I would have given this 5 stars because the product is great but the bottle on the 8oz size is way too stiff and it's very hard to get the conditioner out. I then bought the 32 oz size and that has a pump so that solves the container issue. I tried to call the company several times but they don't answer their phone just a recording saying "Sorry we missed your call, please send an email". I also sent them an email and have not gotten a response. If they made their bottles with not as thick plastic it would also be better for the environment.Update: While I couldn't reach a live person on the phone, I was very happy with the customer service I received via email. Jessicurl makes great products. I hope they revise their containers that don't have a pump./Update: A Jessicurl person emailed me and said they would send pumps for the 8oz size for free but they don't have any. I still love the product but will not order the 8oz size again.

I love this conditioner!
Jessicurl makes great products, especially for fine, curly hair. It's hard to find curly girl moisturizing products that don't weigh down fine, low density hair. I have a sensitive scalp and the "no fragrance added" version doesn't irritate me or cause itching. I avoid putting it directly on my scalp, but you shouldn't put conditioner on your scalp, anyway. For me, I think it would be too heavy to use as a leave-in, so I've never tried that. If you're allergic to things, note that this isn't necessarily "fragrance free," she just doesn't throw in the "parfum" label and instead discloses everything that's in it. IMO it doesn't have a smell. This product, unlike some other Jessicurl products, doesn't contain formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. If you care about that, I would say check the ingredients on some other Jessicurl products because not all of them avoid this preservative. Love Jessicurl!

Finally found something that works
TLDR: Jessicurl is fabulous & you can go to their website to request free samples. Aloeba is for fine, Too Shea for medium, and Deep Conditioning is for thick strands.…My fine hair turned into cotton candy after menopause. I used Jessicurl Deep Conditioning for a while but my hair would go from puffy to overconditioned and I couldn’t find middle ground. Aloeba solves this.I recommend: use a small amount in shower, let it soak in for several minutes, rinse lightly with warm water and again with cooler water before you exit. After shower, use a small spray bottle and mix 1/4 Aloeba and 3/4 water together. Spray your hair lightly and comb through with a Pik (no hairbrush). Then if possible, don’t dry your hair. Soaking wet hair curls nicely- don’t touch anything but your roots til hair is dry. If you must blowdry, use a diffuser held far away, while crimping your curls with your hands. All this I learned after doing it the wrong way for decades. I got a shorter haircut now too and look 10 years younger. Also, read the labels! Almost ALL conditioners use the same basic ingredients, including many labeled “natural” - they all have behentrimonium chloride etc. Jessicurl, on the other hand, is almost entirely natural ingredients.
